Size:2.7  |  Color:Leo Bordeaux Unique, beautiful patterns and colors The company's founder and fabric developer is a textile engineer All cotton used in the Storchenwiege Baby Sling is from controlled biological cotton farms (okeo tex). The weave differs from all other slings in the yarn strength used. In both directions (warp and woof) of the cross weave Storchenwiege uses a double strength, not simple thread. Other wraparound baby slings use the double strength yarn only in one direction. Not only does the strong weave help the durability of the baby sling, it also holds the tied knot better as it doesn't give after the baby is placed in it. This special weave does not influence the elasticity which is necessary to embrace your baby. The fabric is prewashed and preshrunk. This ensures the fabric has a minimal shrinkage of 2.5%. Most fabrics have far more. All slings are washed and dried without tension on the fabric. No chemicals are used in any of the proceedure. Storchenwiege is manufactured in Sachsen, Germany, under strict environmental regulations. Storchenwiege Baby Slings are Oeko Text 100 certified Storchenwiege Baby Slings have a double hemline for durability and the correct embracing of your baby's back All Storchenwiege Baby Slings have tapered ends to ensure easy tying All Storchenwiege Baby Slings come with detailed instructions. The instructions differ from others on the market as they give some extra hints in tying the sling. This is great for beginners as well as "Sling Fanatics." The instructions were developed with the help of a certified teacher of baby wearing from the Dresden, Germany, school of baby wearing instructors.

Absolute BEST baby item EVER!! Worn w/toddler for hours and my back never hurt!
We have five kids, from 17 to 2.5, and this is seriously the BEST baby item I have ever purchased! It is better than a stroller, a bouncy seat, a swing, a pacifier, or whatever it is you think is essential for your baby. Really.I wanted a wrap for our fourth baby and researched a bunch of them. Most people I know had a Moby and said they were the best (they totally lied!); I also asked my midwife and she recommended a Storchenwiege. She said she had one and had worn it many times for births, for more than eight hours at a time with her toddler, and her back had never become tired or sore. I thought that was a pretty good recommendation, but decided to buy the Moby instead as it was considerably less expensive and well, everyone else had one - right? Well, I hated the Moby! I couldn't even carry my newborn, 8 pound baby in it for more than 15-20 minutes without the baby either slowly sliding (technically stretching) lower and lower on my body, or hurting my back, or both. It was ridiculous! So, I finally splurged and and bought a Storchenwiege wrap. I was really hoping I wasn't making a mistake - it was kind of an expensive purchase for "just a piece of cloth".WOW!! I have been SO impressed with this wrap! I love it! I have had it for five years and wish I had known about them with my first three babies. I now consider my Storchenwiege an essential baby item - forget swings and bouncy seats, or whatever else you think your baby needs, and get a Stochenweige! If I were to have to pick just one baby item that wasn't truly essential, but "just because", I would choose my Storchenwiege. It has become a favorite and an absolute must! I take it with me everywhere and still put my almost three year old in it. I use it when we go on walks, to the grocery store, to the park, riding horses, on bike rides, around the house, to do yard work, and any other time I want to carry my little ones but need both hands.Sometimes my little ones have only been it it for about 30 minutes, like when I make a quick run to the grocery store, but most of the time they are in it for hours at a time. My little boys have both stayed positioned correctly the entire time without sliding down, even on an eight hour horse ride! Occasionally I have had to re-snug the tie a little bit (or tie it a little tighter), but I have never once had my back ache or been uncomfortable wearing it. I have put both of my youngest in it starting when they were brand new and around 7 pounds, and still put my almost three year old, who is between 25-30 pounds (?) in it and have never had any issues.I love that I have been able to put my little guys in this and have both hands free to use. They are still snuggled into me and I can kiss the tops of their little heads! It is awesome! I also really like that I can very easily tuck them into it, especially their little hands, so that people can't touch my babies (I hate people putting their hands all over my babies!). Something else I love about this is that even after five years and HUNDREDS, yes, hundreds, of washes it still looks brand new! This is hands-down the best wrap and I could not be more pleased that I bought it (unless of course I had purchased it sooner to use with my other babies!)!! I LOVE this wrap!

Love these wraps
Love these wraps. Bought a long one for back carries and a short for kangaroo on the hip. My 14mo old son grew out of the thin woven wrap we had at about 6mo. The stretchers are no good for back carries. My 26mo niece got wrapped in a back carry for the first time tonight (her mamma said she didn't like wraps, but that was when she was an infant). She patiently hung on as I tighten the wrap, telling her what I was doing as I did it. When she was all tightened in with knees tucked-up, I asked if she was 'ok'. She replied "I happy" and melted/snuggled right in.Her weight was nicely disributed in a double hammock (see 'wrap you in love' YouTube videos).I bought one for my Sister tonight for her to learn to use for LO. It is amazing to be able to tie the baby up to do chores... particularly if they don't want a nap... for with my guy, all it take is a bit of laundry (sorting/folding), and he is out like a light and easily transitions to the crib without waking. Maybe I'm just lucky, but regardless, these are awesome wraps.

Storch Leo sets the Standard for Woven Wrap
I love babywearing. I have owned many different wraps of varying price points and fabric content. If you have done much woven wrap research, you undoubtedly have read great reviews of Leo. This wrap lives up to the hype! For a modest sum (compared to many wovens out there) you get an amazing wrap that will take you from infancy through toddlerhood. I was pleasantly surprised at how thin Leo is--much thinner than my Natibaby 100% cotton--yet it is so very supportive (my wrapee is 24#). Even in multi-layer carries, my little and I remain cool; this will be a great wrap for warmer months. The photo does not do justice to the lovely color of this wrap. It almost shimmers. I could not be happier with my purchase!

Perfect beginners wrap and beyond! LOVE my Leo!
Leo Storch's are awesome, grippy but not too grippy, with enough cush to be comfy, if not actually 'marshmellowy' it's no big thing, because you can wear baby for hours without having to readjust, plus you don't have to baby it, it hides dirt and it's not a snaggy weave at all - I LOVE IT. Red threads and blue threads combine to create a really rich purple at a distance. Originally did not think I wanted the rails to contrast, but with one red and one blue rail(edge), I'm able to more quickly adjust and tighten and 'know' what I'm doing and learning new carries is much easier. So sturdy and yet nice and floppy when broken in! Love love LOVE.

Strong and soft!
I absolutely love this wrap. I have a huge collection, and this was a must-have for new baby due in August. Grippy without being thick, supportive without digging, very quick to break in!

Middle marker off by almost 2 feet
I bought this wrap for my wife after she had been raving about all the positive reviews. Upon opening the wrap, her excitement quickly turned to disappointment when she saw that the middle marker was off by almost 2 feet! We understand that sometimes it can be off by a couple of inches, maybe even a foot, but 2 feet seems a bit excessive.

Love this wrap in a size 3.6
I ordered this wrap in a size 4 (3.6m) and a size 5 (4.1m). The size 4 is perfect for me as I don't like a lot of extra material. I am 5'9" and about 125lbs. It is perfect for front wrap cross carry (tied under bum), rucksack carry (tied in front), and I can even double hammock (tied under bum) in it. It is beautiful and supportive enough to be toddler-worthy. I live in FL and while not my coolest wrap, still my favorite.

Bin sehr zufrieden.

Super Tragetuch
Lässt sich sehr gut binden. Super Stoffqualität. Hält auch 60 Grad Wäsche und Trockner stand. Material Querelastisch, ermöglicht somit das Baby fest genug einzubinden
