An OUTSTANDING cookbook!!!
I felt compelled to write a review of this incredible cookbook after hosting a dinner party of 10 last night making dishes from this book. I made raita, chutneys, pistachio and yogurt curry with chicken tikka and a veg dish (pav bhaji) and even made the naan. The dishes were such a hit that even I was blown away by the flavours! Everyone loved them and they asked where I got the recipes.I’m one of those home cooks that reads cookbooks from cover to cover. You just get a better sense of the author and their cooking tips, experience better rather than picking recipes at random. This little gem is full of useful tips (e.g. how to properly make basmati rice (it is incredible and easier than what I was doing), making and preserving chutneys (the cilantro chutney is amazing!!!!) and even ways of Indian cuisine that adds insight into this delicious area of the world. Plus, you get dessert recipes that pale in comparison to the ones you get in the restaurants. The author’s love for the authenticity as well as making it more convenient and accessible is evident throughout. It is truly an a amazing cookbook that I will be using A LOT! Curries are not complicated if you follow her advice and you can easily make a quick curry dish packed with flavour on a busy weeknight.If you love Indian food, you must buy this book. Every accolade and award it has received is definitely well earned!

Great meat dishes
The best Indian cookbook I have ssen. Great and simple explanations with amny delciious looking meat dishes. With some of them, certain meat dishes can have meat swaps e.g. chicken to beef.

Bis jetzt war jedes Rezept ein voller Erfolg
Ein außerordentlich gutes Kochbuch.Wir haben bis jetzt ca. 15 Rezepten gekocht und jedes Rezept war extrem lecker und gut geschrieben.Schön finde ich auch die kleinen Geschichten als Background zu den jeweiligen Rezepten.
