Bright
Very bright light. Haven’t used in the water yet but believe will work just fine. Heavy duty.

Works well. Would like to use it more.
So far it works as advertised. I’ve used it over the entire summer and into this autumn with no issues. Worked well for scooping up bait fish and even managed to lure a few carp to my bait then in my boat. I’d like to use it more for other purposes like bow or spear fishing.

Not as bright, but has more controls
I really wanted this light to work out. However, when compared side by side with another light that my best fishing buddy was using, this was not as bright as her lower priced light even at its highest setting. That said this one has more options and controls: I was able to change the light from green to blue or mixed, and to control the brightness level. To be fair, I was able to try this only once and we did not catch any fish; I think this was due to the fishing conditions not the light(s). As such, I could not tell if the green or blue light would attract the bigger/more fish. I would use it again the next time we do a night fishing trip and update my review as needed.

Very bright and attracted all sorts of small critters very quickly.
When I first opened the package, I was really surprised by the small size of this light. It’s only 8” long and 1” in diameter. Two short leads with connectors are included for connecting to power. One lead has battery-terminal clips and the other a cigarette lighter plug. Both leads have a 3.5mm power connector on the other end for connection to the light cable. There’s a control box on the light cable itself. The control box has 4 buttons; one button is on/off, two are for controller light intensity, and the “Mode” button is for toggling among “white,” “green,” and “blue” colors. The included instruction is fairly well written, and accurately describes what to do and what not to do. For example, the instruction says the light has to be submerged during use to prevent overheating and LED burn-out.I tried this light off the dock where I launch my boat. The light is very bright when set to its highest intensity. According to my battery-power-consumption monitor, at the highest intensity, the blue and green lights drew 36W, and the white light 34W. It’s not a huge draw but also not negligible. If you’re going to run this off your boat’s primary battery, you need to budget consumption accordingly. I will be using a standalone 12.8V / 12Ah (i.e., 153.6Wh) LifePO4 battery, which should give me slightly over 4 hours of usage at worst case scenario. When testing off the dock, this light drew all sorts of small critters to it in a short time. In theory, that should attract predators, which in turn translates to better fishing; one can only hope! I will be using this light primarily in saltwater, and wonder how well it’ll hold up. I’ll update this review if the light fails prematurely. So far, I like the light. My impression is that this is a decent product.

Nice Underwater Light
I just wanted to share how pleased I am with this purchase. It does what it's supposed to do and fully functions as it should. I thoroughly examined all parts and pieces upon opening.. All the parts were intact and undamaged. All the specs and measurements were accurate, and setting it up was simple. The presentation is of great quality. I have yet to run into any problems or issues. Overall I would say that it is a good value for the price and I would recommend it to others.

Super bright, easy to use
This light comes with a 12v plug adapter and alligator clamps. I opted for the alligator clamps as I have an accessory terminal on my marine battery. Set-up is very simple and the light controls are clearly marked and easy to use on the cord mounted controller. The light can be cycled between blue, green and white. Green gave us the best illumination in the Susquehanna river section that we boat on. Back at the dock, we dropped this in fishless water, (none on the fish finder and none to be seen with the light in the water). After about five minutes, some small baitfish began showing up. Ten minutes later, more baitfish and a small Crappie arrived. In about an hour, there were multiple schools of baitfish and a couple of small Smallmouth Bass.I was hoping for larger fish, but it was almost a full moon so that may have hindered the performance. We don't actually fish, but love watching them in the water. This is entertaining and does work, may take awhile though if you are trying to attract larger fish.

Undecided
The media could not be loaded. Took this with us on our fishing trip. Unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. This has been just a bad fission season so I don’t know. The side was left out for three hours and probably one bait fish came in. I’ll have to give it another try
