Merrell Women's Terran Ari Wrap Sport Sandal

Love the stretchiness. Even when my feet swell these are still comfortable. I also like the way they wrap around my big toe. Feels much more stable than a regular flip-flop. I have bought this style in Merrell sandals before so I knew they would fit but that there wasn't a lot of extra room in the length. Wish they came in half sizes.

I work at a restaurant and this the only thing I wear in the summer. So comfortable

i had a pair of merrell sandals much like this for years. they were getting pretty worn out, but i could not find ones like them, so just kept wearing them. when i took them out at the start of this summer, though, they were so beat as to be unwearable, so i started shopping.i am not sure if these are the exact same model as my previous ones, but they have the thing that i most liked about those old sandals -- they stay on really, really well, even when one runs. i man, i would not go out running in them, but if i run after my dog or something while wearing them, they stay firmly on my feet. this means, too, that they do not do that annoying "flap flap flap" thing while i am walking.this is due to the structure of the toe wrap. the way the toe wrap is made also makes them more comfortable than sandals with a thinner piece that goes between the toes.they are nice looking, too -- a dark black color and very simple.my only issue with them is that the sole is a bit stiff. i much frefer really flexible soles on all of my shoes, boots and sandals. these are not totally rigid -- one can bend them -- but they are stiffer than i like.and if you are someone who requires some degree of support at the arch or whatever, or a lot of padding on sandals -- i do not -- these are not for you.

I needed a lighter colored neutral slip on sandal that stays put and has support but doesn't have the annoying and cumbersome "flip flop" sound and this is as close I can find and it works well. I like the lighter color so I can wear it year round and it goes with everything. It stays on my feet while pacing the house trying to get my infant to sleep but can also be worn on walks outside and even when biking. I have tried multiple types similar to these for sometime. I used the Columbia Kea for years until they discontinued it and then the Merrill Hollyleaf which is ok but doesn't have the color I need. Several people say it doesn't have the support of the previous model and I would say that's true to some extent but still plenty in comparison to anything else I've found. A few others mentioned the sole is too slippery and has a smell. The slickness out of the box wore off the sole moments after I started wearing them so I wouldn't stress that (though it was super slick when I 1st put them on!) and the "just made" smell went away within a day of wearing.

Merrell's are wonderful sandals. I have many of them and wanted to replace a blue pair that I currently have. I normally wear an 8 1/2 size shoe and most of my Merrell's are 8's since they don't come in half sizes. These seem a little shorter than others and my heel comes to the complete back of the sandal, but toes have plenty of room in the front. I probably would have been fine in a size 9. The stretchy part around the toe is very comfortable. Before I ordered, I was a bit concerned about that as I have a bunion on one foot, but no worries, it is comfortable and seems to hold my foot in the proper position without any discomfort. The only con that I have is that there was no paperwork included in the box/delivery.

I like the fit and support.

I was attracted to the shoe for both comfort and arch support. It gives me both but is best suited for at home use or for around the pool. I took them with me on vacation and noticed my foot sliding around when I did more walking. The top of the shoe is stretchy which lessens the stability of your foot.

I bought my first pair in black for a weekend trip where I was going to be mixing a lot of miles driving and quite a bit of walking. I had looked all over town for sandals that suited me and could find NOTHING. Waited almost too long but Amazon got them to me overnight. Well that pair was so fantastic that I had to order another pair and because neutrals work so well I bought what the manufacturer describes as "silver" but what are actually a pale taupe. I was not in such a rush this time but nonetheless they arrived overnight. I wore them to work the next day. I am a very satisfied customer.

Very disappointed that the toe strap was not more solid, and no cushiony feeling for foot, was too hard for under the foot, had to add get inserts to get a cosy feeling, in all cost too much for what I expected. Not comfy, want to feel like it is a pair of slippers, most feel hurt underneath from walking. Just want a comfy sandal that holds from the toe, and I don't want to feel that my foot is going to slip right through the sandal.

Très satisfaite du produit... le talon glisse un peu mais c’est difficile de trouver des gougounes qui ne le font pas.

I was expecting a medium fit, however, it was really narrow. Disappointed. I have been wearing Merrel sandals for several years and love the hollyleaf medium fit. Tried this one but had to return it. Sorry Amazon.
