Pros: The cord and colors are really nice, seems heavy duty. Great price.Cons: On the first day the knife fell out. The compass only works correctly when the bracelet is open and off the wrist, otherwise the metal from the knife interferes with the magnet in the compass, making the actual functionality of the compass worthless.If your just looking for a cheap party favor to hand out at a kids party this should suit your needs. Okay for the price I guess.

So i gave a parachord to my male boss for Christmas. In a gift basker. Not too much reply but he thanked me. But i had a lot left. So i put one in each of the gift baskets for the ladies at work for admin assistants day (because i love mine) and they loved them!!! who would have thought chicks (other than me lol) would love survival gear... but i guess jewelry is still jewelry and this has a purpose... i say get as gifts for women and girls...

I wish I had found these earlier. I purchased other paracord bracelets that seemed exactly like these only the others were more expensive. Gave these as presents to all the kids in my son’s outdoor adventure class. They were delighted. Even used the fire starter with some shaved wood and worked like a charm.

I bought these as a gift for the kids who attended my son's 12th birthday party. They were a hit. I did show each parent the removable blade before handing out to the kids. It is my understanding that all the parents removed the blade so the boys could wear them to school, etc. without concern that anyone would object to the sharpened metal. The price is incredible for 10 bracelets. Some were larger than others which worked well for me since I had various sized kids to fit.

Okay so the only real problem is that the fire starter isn’t great. We tried for a few minutes then used a match with much greater success. At this price though, these are great.The compass only works when away from the metal blade. I just removed the blade...much better. 9/10 compasses proved accurate enough for an emergency. 1/10 is seemingly random.

I purchased these for all of my Cub Scout Den Leaders and they loved them. Each year as the cub Scouts end their year we have a graduation to signify them bridging over into their new rank. Sadly I always watched as an Akela for my son and noticed that the Den Leaders were never recognized. When I became Committee Chair for the pack I decided to do something about it and surprised them with a certificate, a small notebook, and these paracord bracelets. I was impressed by the colors and sturdy materials for the price that I paid. Well worth it and they were very happy and surprised to receive such a gift.

I bought these for a Veterans Day Breakfast giveaway on Friday, 11.10.17. These are comfortable, the whistle is loud enough to get someone's attention. I haven't had a chance to test out the fire starter part, but overall...I'm pleased. Used Prime 2-day shipping and used the Amazon locker for delivery. Easy-peezy :)
