An Excellent water/anything bottle
I've recently been converted to stainless steel water bottles and this is my favorite insulated model. If I put hot water in it, it stays HOT and vice versa with cold. Plus the lid is fantastic and can be run through the dishwasher so I know everything is getting cleaned and sanitized well. The finish is also great for a non-slip grip and the silicone boot at the bottom makes sure there's not a clanking sound all the time. Did I mention how fantastic the lid was? I even got a spare lid for my partner to use with his ginormous hydroflask. Speaking of hydroflask, I would say the insulating works about the same. I got a coffee version of the hydroflask 3 months ago and have been using both back and forth without really noticing much difference. The only difference I've noticed is in cost if you get a comparable size. So at that point it just boils down to personal preference. For its insulating abilities and lid, I would say it's a great water bottle and worth every penny.

Strongly recommended.
I bought the 18 oz bottle in August 2020 for using it mainly in an office environment. I wanted a bottle strong, durable, extremely insulated, and almost shock proof. This bottle has fill the bill successfully. Some comments:1. Twice I've accidentally dropped the bottle. A small dent at the bottom only. It was full of ice and water. It stands as nothing had happened.2. I only make a deep cleaning weekly. Living in the hot and high humidity weather of Central Florida, I have never seen mold in the bottle, including, obviously, the harder accessible parts.3. Thanks to the negative reviews of some buyers, stating the lid broken, yes, there's a design/construction issue, but I realized a remedy to avoid that: The joint is made of silicone, so you don't need to tight it strongly to avoid leaking. If you do it, you will breaker it sooner or later. The more you tight the lid, more chances to break it. See the pictures of the broken lids and you'll realize why.4. The insulation is so good that filled completely of ice and water, there won't be condensed water externally in the bottle anytime.5. The rubber at the bottom avoid it slipping while placed in the table. The coating of the bottle helps you holding in your hand better.IT'S A LITTLE BIT EXPENSIVE BOTTLE BUT IT WORTH THE PRICE. I NEED NOW A 64 OZ BOTTLE NOW AND I WON'T STOP SHOPPING AROUND; I FOUND THAT ONE AND I WILL HAPPILY PAY 45 BUCKS FOR IT.Updated on 12/08/2022: USING THE BOTTLE 4-10 NO NEGATIVE ISSUE UNTIL NOW.

Perfect size for travel
Bought this perfect water bottle for my trip! Loved the size, kept my water icy cold, easy to carry and use! BUT, I left it on the first leg of trip plane! Sooo disappointed and angry with myself!I checked with the airlines on my return trip but no luck - employee said they throw away any/all water bottles for health concerns.....I'll just have to order a replacement - it's worth it!

I think this may be the best water bottle on Amazon
I've bought a variety of water bottles on Amazon and this has been the best, bar none. I never imagined I'd be enthusiastic enough about a water bottle to spend time writing a glowing review, but this was a great purchase.I initially cheaped out on those Chinese brands on Amazon with weird names like AUOGYOU or whatever. The base wasn't always stable, it had no carrying handle, wasn't always leak proof, and had sort-of okay insulation. Meh.I've since had a 16 oz EcoVessel, which I liked, a HydroFlask, and one from Built. None of those is as great on all fronts as my 18 oz Takeya. This is super sturdy and stable, never sweats, never leaks, has a handle that is far more convenient that the EcoVessel one and is easier to drink out of (in addition to having an extra 2 oz of space), and is cheaper to boot. I know Hydro Flask is a big name brand, but I compared them side by side and would prefer my Takeya any day - insulation, value, aesthetics, stability, sturdiness, grip, ease of use, size. It's perfect.I know this sounds like a paid ad but, shrug, I love this stupid water bottle and am glad my hours of scouring Amazon paid off.

Best Water Bottle
These are the best water bottles. Your water stays cold for 24 hours plus. Compared to other water bottles they aren’t heavy either. Love the carry handle and the fact they are leak proof. They come in a variety of beautiful colors.

Easy to clean
A multipurpose container. Good for hot and cold and very easy to clean. It fits well into the side pocket of my Talon 22. Probably to heavy for an extended day hike but perfect for a short 3-4 hour walk.

Pick your drink and stick to it!
I have the 18oz bottle. It's been quite functional, keeping cold water cold - no leaks. Have not tried hot water. It is a little on the fat side, esp with the base silicone bumper, requiring some effort to fit it into my backpack side bottle pocket. I could remove the bumper but I like the bumper for added stability on a surface. One word of warning: pick your liquid and stick to it. I only use it for water, but my spouse used it one day for hot coffee. After that, no matter how I tried, I could not remove the smell of coffee from the O-rings in the lid. Had to buy a 3rd party set of O-rings which did the trick.
