My husband is a huge fan of SCI-MX products so he was happy to try this. He wasn’t disappointed with this and has a serving alongside his lunch. He’s found the green tea gives him an energy boost in the afternoon so we’d definitely purchase this again. As a diabetic he always monitors new products with sucralose because it’s a product that varies in GI value (0-80), he hasn’t found this to have any adverse effect on blood sugars though.Normally he mixes flavoured whey isolates or concentrate with almond milk but he’s happy drinking this one with water. We often add frozen berries to protein shakes but hubby actually prefers this one without. He thinks it tastes better on its own than with added fruit. He also likes it blitzed with crushed ice - just reduce the liquid amount when adding ice and you end up with the consistency of a thick milkshake.Although, this dissolves well in water (even in a hand shaker) I find it tastes too powdery with a strange aftertaste. I normally enjoy SCI-MX powders but I didn’t like this one on it’s own. I could drink it with added berries and nut powder, if there was nothing else in, but I wouldn’t use it otherwise. Hubby totally disagrees though so it’s definitely about personal taste! It’s currently priced at £33.99 for 26 servings which we don’t find expensive, but then I’m used to paying for keto and TDR mixes. I should point out that this isn’t a total meal replacement shake but it’s low carb so you can use it on keto and it’s got a good amount of protein for a boost.

I've tried MANY protein drinks and none come close to how sweet this is, I had one sip and it took me a minute to sike myself up for the next. I'm not massively keen on sweet stuff but this was a bit much, like a weak brew with too many sweeteners in. I tried with milk and water and found that if I put less in and then diluted it massively it's more palatable but then it just tasted like weetabix so I had to bin it. But if you like over poweringly sweet stuff this is the one for you.
