Super Cute!
I was so impressed with the fast shipping on this backpack because it did come from China. Don't let it being made in China scare you. My 6 year old 1st grader is all about loving puppies! Instead of giving money to a huge cartoon he enjoys that is also probably constructed in China and of lesser quality because of the vast popularity of certain characters, we wanted something unique.We bought the large. I asked my kid what he likes about it. It said, " well it's a puppy and has lots of pockets and it's waterproof!"The first thing he did when we got it and unpacked it was grab a cup and go into the bathroom and pour water on it while it was in the bathtub to "test it". It honestly is waterproof. He got to test it out in a real life situation today as it's been very rainy today and all the homework came home clean and dry!My only complaint as a mom, is that it is kind of small even for a "large" backpack. Thankfully, my son is at an age that they don't make the kids carry any books other than a 1/2 inch binder and papers.It takes ink well so you can mark the backpack with your child's name although, you'll still hand the only cool puppy backpack at your kids school.You can very carefully put a lot more in the backpack, the seams are strong and it's well made. The pulls on the zippers are little plastic paw prints. It's just super cute! Enjoy!!

Cute for maybe pre-k, not kindergarten. It's too small for that purpose. I had to return it.
