Keeps my sick cat well fed — dog loves it too
I’ve been sprinkling human grade Bonita (bonito?) as a topper on my elderly and chronically ill cat’s food for the past few years but the sodium was higher than I thought it should be. I recently found this pet food grade version; and very happy that it has low sodium (none added). His vet told me to keep adding it as my cats life expectancy was supposed to be 3 years and that was 5 years ago — so glad this keeps his hunger levels up. I also buy him no sodium sardines in spring water and the combination is working well.

So good I could eat it myself!
My cat is very fussy, he turns his nose up at gourmet hand crafted food, that is not a problem with this cat sushi. If I open the bag he comes running! I sprinkle a little on any can of cat food and within a blink of an eye it's all gone! Game changer! it smells like tuna, looks like tuna and feels like fish flakes, as a tasty cat treat it's a win, and probably adds a delicious crunch to otherwise mushy food!

My cats love it
We have tried a few different brands of bonito flakes for my cats. This is their favorite. It has a strong odor of smoked fish-- for fish, it's relatively pleasant. It's a good size to last our 5 cats about a month with once a day application over some of their food. I'm not sure if it's a good value for the money, but my cats demand it so I must oblige.

Big hit
My cats LOVE these treats! When they hear me pull out the bag, they all come running. They don't smell too strongly (but it's fish...you have to expect odor). Healthy treat.

My cat is usually extremely picky but he loved these. I have to feed him out of my hand when I give them to him but I don't mind.

Not for all cats
Three cats have tried it... only one went back for more -- and then would'nt touch it again.The product smells fresh, is innovative in that you can use it as a topper or even as a meal.It doesn't make it where it matters: my cats hate it.It was a pretty expensive experiment.EDIT: But the manufacturer offered me a refund that's worth 2 additional stars.
