Hot water
Product seems built well installed easily and has worked great so far you will probably need a mixing valve if you don’t have one to tame down the hot water

Works great, but should be installed by someone with training
We use this with our water heater & outdoor wood boiler and now have water that is steaming hot! There was one small drip on the 1st installation, but my husband (HVAC mechanic) was able to fix it. Installing it should be done by someone who has training to not mess up the connections, but he said it was easy to put in and as I said works great!

Quality product
Good product. Well built of stainless steel. Top and bottom ports are 3/4". Side ports are 1".

Not 1" NPT ports on the system side as described
This looks like a well built exchanger but the system side ports are 3/4" not 1" as described.The product description states that the water heater ports are 3/4" and the system side are 1" but that is not the case. All ports are 3/4"
