The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life

From the First Daughter of US
I bought this book because she's the First Daughter of the US, I mean the first daughter of the current president of the US, Donald Trump. For me, they are kind of the current US spirit. It is worth buying if you want to know a little bit more about their values and her education. She sounds to be a really good heart really but a tricky person. She's talking about capitalism and I think that pure capitalism is definitely a wild hunt in a stone jungle, as a pure reason behavior, that is without feelings; what means that it is a kind of psychopath. Trump will trample you. She is advising you. It's a sincere book.

Interesting and easy to understand
Unfortunately the book was a bit damaged and pages already turned yellow.

part memoir/part advice guide
I have to properly credit finding out about this book from an L.A. based writer from Australia named Alice Underwood who wrote the article 7 Richest Women in the World on likessharetweetdocom. I feel lucky to admit that I then ordered this book on December 18, 2014 for just four American dollars (counting shipping costs). I admit that my mind is open to getting wealth advice to further my own professional career and financial goals from both men and women born into wealthy/certain middle class families and those self-made. This is due to the fact that my husband and I currently reside in an area inside of the Washington D.C. neighborhood where this information is tricky to come by outside of a book/various online websites unless you work in certain private sector jobs (maid, housekeeping, nanny etc.), educational careers (certain jobs within universities/colleges), consistent volunteering endeavors, and/or government fields. The Trump Card by Ivanka Trump even has an endorsement from Anna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue magazine. Ivanka Trump shares information such as her close bond with her mother and how that shaped her as a person. She also communicates the message that she was very serious about meeting and exceeding the expectations that her parents had of her while also being candid about her concerns as she was preparing to work for her father, especially when one of her professors was sharing a job opportunity with her. I enjoyed her feature on staying open pages 129-132 because she goes into her experiences while tying into what a person can do to achieve their professional and other objectives. This section alone made me glad that I got this book because im fully aware that sometimes the unexpected can happen and the rug can be pulled out from underneath you during certain times of your life (metaphorically speaking). The way she tied her experiences with her tips in the staying open section helped me realize that staying open and adaptable does not have to be met with reluctance and/or sadness but instead with greater self- confidence and optimism on what the future can hold regardless of how things look in the current moment. She also generously shares some of the publications that she looks at and reads (ivanka trump mentions that she reads media such as the huffington post, the Washington post, the new York times, the wall street journal the new York observer, the atlantic, the economist, and barrons). There are also quotes of advice from various celebrities and professionals within this book.

Love it!!
A great book!if you do not know Ivanka, watch one of her videos on youtubes and see if you like how she expresses herself; her book is fresh and straightforward as Ivanka. I particularly like her "get over it" idea and the question of moving past people judgements! Also, she gives great networking tips that yo can start applying asap! I read it really fast as it was very engaging and interesting! Lots of great tips and career advice for women in business! She is clearly much more than just "Donald's daughter" and I learned a lot from reading it!! Highly recommend it to all #womenwhowork I hope she will write another book about motherhood and marriage!

Read the book if you are searching for a good example
What is the purpose to read a book? To learn something, get new insides, have fun. There are many. I think the trump family is a very good example how to think big and believe in oneself. On youtube is a comment on an interview with Ivanka Trump saying something like "it is impressive how money makes people happy". I think there is another connection behind the sparkling. They have big ideas, go for it, work for it, they like what they do, that's why they are successful and one of the successes is money. The book presents very pleasant insights in a world most people will never life in. It gives courage and good example. We do not always need news. The question is do we live what we know? If so, we can also life our dreams and enjoy other's biographies.
