Got this to frame a painting for my mom for Christmas and was surprised by how high quality it is. Nice weight to it. Also very well packaged. Makes an awesome gift!

This ornate frame arrived broken, but was quickly replaced. The frame is ornate and gilded evenly. It is to hang, and looks lovely. The picture it comes with is fun, but swapping out my picture from theirs was a snap. The frame backing holds the picture in place without being loose in the frame. I would order this again.

Really nice antique style frame. I have a lot of this style frame around my home and really like the dramatic effect and texture they provide in otherwise crisp spaces. The frame is very heavy and feels like excellent quality. I wish I'd noticed how rough and deeply patinaed this frame was before ordering as the style is a bit less rich than some of the other frames I have, but I ended up spraying it a brighter gold and I think that helped considerably. Overall a beautiful and well made frame. Recommended.

This is actually a little bigger than I needed, but I do love the couple who arrived in the frame, so I'll just pretend they're distant relatives until I find something else to go in it. The detailing on this frame is marvelous and it looks much more expensive than it is. The fram arrived well-packed and intact. The frame itself is heavy and substantial, the backing in velvet-covered and fits snugly. Can be hung in either portrait or landscape orientation or used on a table or flat surface. A word of caution (and a big WHY to companies that do this): the glass is glued to the frame, so do not put anything of value in this frame. I take a star away for this practice because it isn't necessary and it is harmful to any picture inside the frame. Glue is often so sloppily applied that the picture won't lie flat. If not for the glue, I would rate this frame five stars.

This is really a very pretty and extravagant looking frame made of painted and gilded resin it is fairly heavy and completely evokes the antique carved wood frames of the past. Frame has a velvet back, a snug closure and can be displayed on a table top or even hung on the wall as it has a sturdy sawtooth hanker on the back. It also comes with a print of the Georgian couple that quite frankly looks better in the frame than, well anyone I personally know, so this frame might be better suited for a professional portrait.

Arrived in excellent condition and is very pretty. This is a 5x7 photo of a drawing of my Great Grandfather and when paired with other antiques, it looks like the real deal. You literally have to pick it up and look at the back to see that its a modern piece. I am quite happy with this picture frame and would order again.
