It's great and easy
I got this for my niece to convince her to make me a bracelet and she loves it! She says it's sooooo easy to use and her hands don't get as tired. Looking forward to my bracelet 😁

Relaxing activity for kids
This comes with all the basics you need to make one bracelet. If you haven't used this type of product before, there's a bit of a learning curve before getting the hang of it - especially for young children. We are novices at this new hobby, so not much helpful knowledge to relate as we learn along with the kids. A few observations however, there's a tendency to use this in your lap but it is more manageable sitting on a solid surface. The body is made of plastic with little rubber feet on the bottom so it's more stable and won't move around as much when set on a table. The body also extends as your bracelet gets longer. The downside is that it only extends to one position - it seems you cannot gradually extend it to match the bracelet's progression. There is also a storage compartment on the bottom. We really appreciate the 'quiet time' this hobby offers. Anything to get the kids off their tablets, phones or Playstation is a big plus.

Just Meh
Thos product really didn't meet my expectations the way I thought it would. The thread strands don't stay put. It's very combersome to use when working with more than 4 strands. It's really easier to just lay the thread out side by side. Unfortunately I just don't think this item is necessary bracelet making.

A piece of 💩
The product was super tiny and a pain in the behind to use. It was not worth the money and it was so difficult because it was super lightweight and itty bitty that I couldn't even get 3 inches of bracelet going on this thing.

Great, doesn't clamp strings on the bottom, should use on a flat surface
I liked the clear instructions and the pre-cut string. It made getting started convenient. One reviewer mentioned that this was "great for the car", so I imagined that you could use this in your lap while riding in the car. I tried using this in my lap while sitting on the couch. You use your two hands to tie the strings, so you can't hold on to the bracelet maker. So, it would just be sliding around on your lap. While it slid around on my lap, all the strings would go everywhere. I got completely frustrated and moved my bracelet to a clipboard to finish the bracelet, but then I realized I didn't get the device a fair shot. So, I tried again. Here are a few things to keep in mind. It has a couple of grippy dots on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on a flat surface. It's meant to be used on a hard, flat surface. When it's not sliding around, the strings stay where they're supposed to be.The device doesn't clamp on the strings, the knobs you see are like dividers to sort your string. If the device is moving around, the strings will be moving around too. When your bracelet gets longer, the device expands so you can finish the length of your bracelet.I think it'll help my daughters keep their strings in order. I think I was so used to the way I did it back when I was a kid, that I originally didn't give this a fair shot. I would recommend for beginners. Just keep it on a table or another fixed, hard, flat surface!

Very Sturdy Bracelet Maker
What a fun little project maker this is! The friendship bracelet maker comes with 10 strands of pre-cut floss that could make anywhere from 2 to 4 bracelets, depending on how many strands you want to use. I used four to make the bracelet that’s in progress in the pictures (they are folded in half, so that doubles to the eight threads you see.) It comes with a full-page of easy-to-follow directions, but that only includes the one pattern that I am weaving. There is a note on the directions that says there are more patterns online at a particular website, however, so it appears there’s a way to make more styles than that one.The maker, when fully extended, is 9.5” long and about 4” wide, so it doesn’t take up much room. It also has a storage container in the back that is very easy to open and is very handy place to store the pre-cut threads that come with it.The maker is fairly easy to use. The only complaint I have is that is doesn’t hold the threads tightly or securely, which can change the tension of the work and make the bracelet uneven. Also, the threads can pop out of the slots, and then you spend more time putting them back in the proper order to keep working on the bracelet. Otherwise, I’d say it’s a very nice little project maker and could be a good deal of fun for kids aged 8 and up. (Younger than that, and they might not have the patience to make a full bracelet – it does take a good deal of time.)

A little tricky, but cute DIY bracelet making set
This was a gift for my 7-year old. We both played with it for awhile, but initially had some trouble getting the plastic piece to hold the threads. It's nice to have something to help hold them apart while knotting, but in the end it was a little complicated. It's a set that comes with enough pastel embroidery thread for several bracelets. Good for gifting or a rainy day activity.
