Not a minimalist shoe, but has zero drop and wide toe box
Size 10 US = 28 cm. I switched the laces with my elastic laces, heel lock lace style. I am a huge believer in barefoot shoes but I needed something with support for my ankles over supination. This shoe has zero drop and a very spacious, wide toe box. I cannot stress how impressed I am that a mainstream company like Adidas created a foot shaped toe box! Most mainstream manufacturers create diamond shape shoes which destroy the toe's bone alignment, cause friction blisters and weaken the foot arch. The cushion is firm and stable. It can handle heavy weights and is perfect for dead lifts and squats. Its thick enough to play tennis in- While something like barefoot shoes aren't built to handle this shoe really feels like a cross trainer. Not the best for jogging comfort but gets the job done. The soles are flat and wide so the foot is secure and ankle over supination is virtually eliminated, especially on lifts. Velcro strap adds more support and are not a gimmick. I removed the insole to add more width and was surprised by how plush the inside footbed is. Very soft and premium finish for such a low price.Traction is strong but the rubber is soft so durability is the weak point of the soles. The upper is nice and stretchy but again secure. I lift weights, went jogging and play tennis in these shoes and they are simply sublime. I spent many years and thousands to find the perfect shoe and this is very, very close. Only complaint is replacing the outer sole with something more sturdy and a herring bone pattern for more traction. But that's a minor complaint really.TLDR: Wide toe box, stability shoe with firm cushioning and solid traction.

Perfect weightlifting shoes without the heal rise.
I'm a week into trying these weightlifting shoes and I love them. I lifted for years in Converse, and when I would try transitioning to actual weightlifting shoes, the rise in the heal always threw off my squats and deadlifts, and the last thing I want to do during a workout is be changing shoes for different lifts, or walking around barefoot when I want to deadlift. These are sort of the best of both worlds, providing the stability, flat base, and snug fit from the strap over the arch that a weightlifting shoe offers, while the wide toe base gives your feet room to expand without any slipping and they are light as a feather, so any jumps during pull lifts feel very natural. Squats, deadlifts, floor pulls, all feel great wearing these, so much better than the old Converse sneakers, which really aren't as great for lifting, or for your feet in general. At least that's my experience. I also like how they look more like an athletic shoe than most other weightlifting shoes that tend to look too flashy or just goofy.By the way, I don't have wide feet, and didn't have any issues with them being to wide, even though they are described as being for wide feet. As for walking or running, these are not for that, though you could get away with them on elipticals, rowers, or other machines that don't require a whole lot of flex in your foot. I wouldn't, but mostly because I don't want to wear them out for lifting prematurely by using them for something they're not made for.

Quality shoe
I have weak ankles and need a firm sole. This shoe fills the need. The sole is very firm, ideal for weight training and cross fit. The strap is very secure via Velcro and supports your instep.

Good weightlifting shoe
I love Adidas and have recently got into a weightlifting training regime. My personal training also likes adidas and recommended this. Good comfortable shoe with a nice stable base. Not great for walking around, great at what it’s made for…weightlifting!

May feel to big.
I wear a 13 in shoes. Was looking for a flat shoe to squat and deadlift in. Thry r very roomy. States wide toe box and it does! Recommend ordering down 1/2 size if possible. More than enough room. No ankle support btw. Strap doesn’t provide real tension or tightness. They r ok.. just ok.

Great lifting shoe
Great lifting shoe. As another reviewer pointed out, order a 1/2 size down and I’m glad I followed his advice. I like these for deadlifting as they’re pretty flat and your toes can naturally spread out with a wide toe box; Vans and Converse “squish/crowd” your toes together which isn’t ideal. As you can see in the pic these have the same shape as my REALLY OLD ReebokNano 8s; I changed out the insoles and I can do Double Unders (and I’m 50 years old) but the outsole is pretty stiff so you won’t being doing any type of running in these. They're not built for that anyway.Overall a good weightlifting/workout shoe.

Don’t buy!!
These shoes suck! The worst training shoe! I bought them for training, primarily lower body and are too soft for this! They are not worth the money and I would encourage you to pass on them! And tell your friends to pass on them!

Perfect
I’ve lifted for years in flat shoes - Sambas, Chuck Taylors, anything cheap and flat. Then for a while went the other way with an Adidas Adipowers with a pretty major lift at the heel, which I actually preferred in squats for a while. Problem is I’ve had surgery on both my left knee and right hip, and as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that decision of flat vs lift really makes a huge difference for me. I think conventional wisdom is lift for squats, flat for deads, and I’ve heard people argue that offset (raised heel) take heat off the hips, flats spare the knees - but after a small fortune spent searching my perfect all around gym shoe, I’ve found flat is best for me all around, and offsets shoes like Adipowers just don’t work for my battered joints. The difference is pretty amazing actually. What I didn’t expect to find, though, is how much better these are than like a Chuck - I don’t know if it’s the strap, design of the sole, or just the overall build quality, but these are way better than any flat soles I’ve tried before. - I’ve never felt so stable and just PLANTED! Amazing. Definitely the Goldilocks leg day shoe for me.I’ve read some reviews where people are worried they’re fakes because they don’t say Adidas on them - for some reason they’ve just changed their branding to logo only, these are the real deal.

Great shoe with wide and stable base
Solid shoe with a wide stable base for lifting with squats or deadlifts or even kettlebells. Comfortable and good for a flat stable non squishy shoe.
