Sunbeam (GCSBNC-101-000) Versa Glide Cordless/Corded Iron, Black

This is a cool design. I was a little skeptical about a cordless iron thinking that I would be waiting around for it to constantly warm up. Not the case. I found that all the time I was moving my pants or shorts into that “right spot” on the board was the perfect amount of time to keep the iron hot. No cord means a lot less hassle too. Cord isn’t hanging up all over everything too. The mist and steam feature work like every other “no-drip” iron... it drips when not exactly flat. Great iron though.

For everyday use, this is great. When I iron shirts, etc. it's very handy not having a cord to get in the way or to get caught on my clothing. Makes ironing easier and faster. Apparently, some folks writing reviews don't know the difference between "cordless" and "battery powered". There is no battery in this. It gets hot when it's attached to it's plugged in base, and stays hot due to it's own thermal mass for long enough to use it for it's intended purpose.

I just st received it and ironed several shirts! It took a few minutes to figure out the bells and whistles but once I did, the results were flawless! The only issue I have is that it is very heavy, even without the attachment that makes it cordless. If I were to use it as a cord d iron I'd really struggle with the weightiness. (I'm a 72 yo woman, so take that into consideration!)

Convenient, simple controls, reheats quickly when in cordless mode. The base does not hinder ironing when in the corded mode. The water reservoir is larger than my previous iron. Most important it functions perfectly

I love the idea of cordless for sewing room, but was hoping for a hotter iron with more steam. It takes forever to heat up. It does have a long cord.After using it for a couple months I have grown to love it more. I use it for my small sewing craft room. At first it took awhile to warm and it’s not a rowenta iron, so don’t expect that. It steams very well and I love that I can bring it to my project without hassle of a cord. Opening seams while sewing is much faster now.

It took me a minute to figure out how to turn this iron on, but once I got there, it did an excellent job of getting my clothing ironed well. It's lightweight when off the base, and I like not having a cord in the way. Great price for the product you receive.

Easy to use as in easy to move but it did not get hot enough to get wrinkles out of some fabrics.

Great iron. I'm a novice (historical/vintage) seamstress and got it so I didn't have to keep stealing irons from others in the house. For me it's great, even though it seems like it's advertised that it stays hot when not attached to the base (it doesn't, it's more like a heating station, which doesn't bother me), I still find it useful and doing quick areas, or small projects. I primarily work with cotton and find the materials I work with it gets wrinkles out, flattens seams, etc well enough and find the steam settings to work well too. Gets hot fast too.

La plancha tiene un diseño muy bonito, es liviana, solo que no comprendía muy bien como era al principio pero después ya le agarre la onda. Es funcional

Producto de buena calidad. Sunbeam es garantía. Lo único que se extraña es que no tenga Teflon, pero fuera de eso, excelente producto a un excelente precio.

La plancha calienta muy bien lo que me gustó es que tienes la opción de usarla de l manera tradicional o bien de forma inalámbrica
