I bought these to replace all of the outside lights at my house after a remodel. In some places, I had the original bulbs from over 18 years ago and in some I had LED bulbs I added about 5 years ago. These are really nice because they are glass and throw off a lot of light. I keep them dimmed at about 50% for daily use and when I bump them up to 100% on my dimmers they really shine. I've used this brand elsewhere inside my house and have been happy there. In my opinion, this is a good value for price and they come well packaged. I bought about 2 dozen of these and had no issues with any of them - all bulbs worked and I had no trouble getting them to screw properly into the socket. Will buy more (but may not have to because these should last a long time!)

we made a pickleball court in our basement where lighting was dim. we have 12 lights in the 45x25 room, with 10ft high ceilings. I was using 100 watt equivalent halogen bulbs which are pretty bright, and they are cheap even though they dont last. I only bought 2 of these at first cause they were ~$8/each and wanted to try them out before buying 6 of them. replacing only 2 of the halo 100 watters with these 5k 2640 Lumens helped, like really helped. So then i bought 2 more, and had a problem with one of the 2 that arrived, and spoke with andy from greateagle and got credit, got the replacement ones, and the difference is ibg, even the mrs and kids are like, its way brighter down here, with only 4 bulbs changed out in such a big area. I cant comment on longevity or cost savings, might take a long time to overcome the extra cost vs cheap halogen bulbs. They are brighter so its a win win for my purposes. great company to buy from, very fast customer service, will be buying again. NOTE, i bought these and they are a21 form factor and still fit with plenty of room in the light cages I have.

Bright, white light

Nice bright bulbs, I used mine in a fixture I got at ikea with a maximum spec of 27w, which means LED only. I’m not sure it’s the equivalent of a 200w bulb like it advertises but it’s certainly like a 100w incandescent. This is a bright white bulb and NOT a warm yellow perfect for the kitchen. It runs warm and time will tell when I need to replace it, it seems like all of the LED bulbs I have used go dim when it’s time to replace them, like a capacitor or overheats rather then the LEDs burning out, I am sure this one will be no different.

These bulbs have a beautiful brilliant light. It's not too white but it also isn't a warm yellow. It's pretty close to daylight in color. The light comes on bright immediately when you first flip the switch. There is no delay and it is immediately bright. However, when I first screwed them in, the light seemed to get a little brighter just ever so slightly within 30 seconds to 1 minute. It wasn't a big of a deal because they are already so bright. I just installed these bulbs last week so I don't know how long they'll last yet but so far, I REALLY like them. I like them better than my honey comb bulbs although I DO like the honey combs too. But I think I like these a little better due to their size, look, and tone of the lighting.

Replaced "pointable" LED light bulbs with these and my garage is MUCH brighter and the light reaches into the corners like never before! This was a major upgrade from the old incandescent and old 'pointable' LED light bulbs I have been using. I have an old incandescent motion sensor light switch in the garage that turns the lights on automatically - using this the bulbs do have a very low glow when powered off. I believe that getting a newer LED supported motion sensor would fix this (as it did with my bathroom lights). However, the low glow is so low it's not using much power and doesn't really bother me so I'm leaving it as is.

When I first installed the bulbs they flickered. I wrote to Great Eagle, and they responded very quickly with top-notch troubleshooting suggestions. They stuck with me through a couple rounds of debugging. Eventually we figured out that the dimmer switch was malfunctioning. The bulbs are working very well now--but what really impressed me was how the company stood by the product and provided assistance.
