This is one of the best Things I've gotten from Amazon. The Thieye rear view backup camera has an easy install and works great!

I love the security of knowing a dash cam has my back on the road.Super easy to setup and use. Picture quality is pretty good, though I wish the rear camera was slightly better, especially at night.Fits right over the rear view mirror.I've had several situations where the car is full to the brim and I can't see using the traditional rear view mirror. Just switched the camera to the rear camera and now I can see behind me again.

I like the system and would buy it again. It is easy to connect the cameras are crystal clear and I like the GPS feature. My only complaint is the mirror when it is very bright out you can not see the screen. I have read where some people have installed an anti glareShield over the mirror and it has helped but I can not find one that fits this size screen. If you could see the screen in bright light I would change this to 5 star.

The media could not be loaded.  Picture quality is overall good. A little high on the exposure at times but not bad both front and rear. Audio quality is good although playback on the device is not loud enough. The menu options are plentiful like G sensor GPS etc. You can also change the recording segments to 5min clips but it's under loop recording and there's no way to shut off loop recording so if you have important footage tag it protected.The voice prompts work as for switching screens but there is no start or stop recording or take photo or save like in the description. Overall it's a nice mirror dash cam for the price BUT it doesn't work correctly. Just like in my video there will be times where it just doesn't record. Tapping the record button does nothing and you have to reset everything. It worked fine the first couple of days and I thought it was good to go and already threw the box away. 😐 There is a chance I got a defective unit but that also says something about it's reliability and quality.

A few weeks after installing thieye dashcam 3, I started to get an error message about the SD card. I found the tech support email contact but given that the company is in China and I am in California (USA) , I had very little hope that I would get help with the problem but I sent an email anyway. I was so surprised to get an email back within one day to assure me that they would help. They made the recommendation that I try a different SD card. So I took one out of another device and it worked. I told them that it the other card solved the problem and they told me that they will now send me a new card at no charge. Apparently these guys are there for their customers. The tech support email goes to a real person who really responds and really helps! And I am very grateful that they are giving me a new card for free. I would work with these guys again with no hesitation.Thank you

Been in market for a standalone forward facing dash camera. Came with sd card and all the length wires for the backup camera. Quality is impressive. Issue is the additional weight keeps making the original vehicle rear view tilt down, not fault of product just going to have to figure out. Lots of settings somewhat complicated but wait tapped into cig lighter and very good resolution day or night. Worth price, the camera is small and discreet

Hands down the best mirror dash cam out there.Very responsive,perfect picture,easy to install.The record both front and rear cameras at the same time is the icing on the cake.The different features make this camera well worth the money.Ive had different dash cameras and nothing compares to this one.Besides that their customer service is impeccable.The touch screen is just like using an ipad.If this review had 19 stars i would give it 10 stars.

I drive a 2014 Chevy Silverado and wanted to upgrade it with a reverse camera and dashcam and this is the product I chose. I am very impressed with the quality of both the screen and both cameras. They all produce clear videoes. The installation was also very simple, as I installed myself. !
