Klasse Teil und vor allem sehr vielseitig einsetzbar.Nachdem mein anderes Tarp einem Sturm zum Opfer gefallen ist musste ein neues her, diesmal ein preiswertes.Ich bin wirklich sehr überrascht was ich hier für einen günstigen Preis enthalten habe. Alles dabei, Heringe, Abspannung und zwei Organisationssäcke. Das Tarp ist ringsum extra verstärkt und am den Ecken auch nochmal zusätzlich. Man hat die Möglichkeit Schlaufen oder, was mir besser gefällt, Ösen zur Aufhängung bzw Abspannung zu nutzen.Das Wasser läuft sehr gut ab und es bildet sich auch kein fixes Durchnässen. Ich bin wirklich zufrieden und denke mir, das dass ein treuer und Langzeitiger Begleiter für meine Aktivitäten sein wird.Wenn Ihnen meine kleine, ehrliche und realistische Rezension gefallen hat, dann würde ich mich freuen wenn sie mir ein "nützlich " geben. Sehr gutes Tarp, 8 Abspannpunkte (leider keine 16, sodass komplexere Aufbauvarianten nicht möglich sind).Das Gewicht ist nach meiner Waage für das/die:- Tarp 688 g- Tarphülle 16 g- 6 Heringe 80 g- Heringtasche 7 g- 8 Seile 180 gAlso insgesamt 971 g

Really pleased with this tarp after putting it through its paces in the wind and rain. It's a 3x3m dark green waterproof tarp with 3 grommets on each side and one in the middle. Comes with guy ropes (I didnt bring these as used paracord instead) and 6 lightweight pegs. I was able to fashion it in to an open and closed 3 sided tipi with a bit of ground cover by using a hiking pole and then later in to a standard tent shape hanging from a ridge line between the hiking pole and a tree. The wind got rough on that journey and I had to make adjustments in the night to close one end. With the other end open, I stayed completely dry and warm throughout heavy rain and wind, even with some of my gear unavoidably touching the inside of the material. In the closed tipi shape condensation did build up on the inside overnight. Practically though I'm delighted with it. Its genuinely waterproof but big enough to keep a 6ft person warm and drywith space to spare and im pretty certain you could easily sleep 2 under it if you needed. The colour is not as natural as I'd like but at least dark green and it's worth getting to know some knots and shelter shapes before you go to make life easier but for the price it's an excellent purchase. My advice is to take an extra tent peg or two as you only get 6 and with the pole and ridge line I found myself having to make another one. Takes up a fair bit of space in the backpack but nowhere near as much as a tent would and it's about half the weight of even the lightest one man tent. Hopefully this will remain in my pack for years to come.

Tarp was delivered next day by Amazon, and first impressions of the product were good.However, on closer inspection, a long line of small holes were noticed parallel to the bound edging.It appears as though the binding had been wrongly stitched, then unpicked and re-stitched in a new position.Surely this would be known to the manufacturer!Clearly, a line of perforations is likely to soon result in a tear.Amazon customer service and returns process was excellent, as always, but annoying extra hassle and disappointment.I've since purchased a "Unigear" tarp, with which I'm exceptionally pleased.

I bought this to try out hammock camping and i think it will still do the job fine.The tab on the middle of the tarp is a nice feature allowing for the ridgeline to sit above.However one of the seams was not properly sewn up (as seen in the photo) so I cannot comment on how long it will last.I would have asked for a replacement but I will be needing it next week and don't want to be without so it seems I'm stuck with this one.
