Takeya Actives Insulated Stainless Water Bottle with Insulated Spout Lid, 18oz, Slate

Used these for my family at Disney. Not too big. Easy to add ice. Smaller cap made drinking easy without spills. Would recommend to anyone seeking a sturdy insulated bottle.If I was going long distance, might seek lightweight options. Great for short treks and commuting.

I will admit that I haven’t had this bottle for very long - about 3 weeks. Despite that, I am so impressed with it that I wanted to leave a review. I have plenty of water bottles - cola bottle shaped stainless steel insulated ones and glass ones with silicone sleeves - not to mention the ones that have long since been thrown out - the plastic and aluminum ones. I bought the first Takeya water bottle on a whim. After using it a few times, I bought two more in different sizes. I love the spout lid. It makes drinking much easier than the cola shaped water bottles. The spout is covered and that cover is attached so you don’t contaminate the contents if you drop the cap. I’ve done that plenty of times with the cola shaped bottles. I don’t have to worry about breaking it as I did with the glass bottles in the silicone sleeves. It is easier to clean than any water bottle I’ve had before since the entire top unscrews. No more having to use skinny bottle brushes to clean it or cleaning tablets. The most amazing thing to me is how long my water stays cool. I don’t put in ice, but I do use refrigerated reverse osmosis treated water. The water has stayed cool for several hours which is wonderful considering I live in an area where the temperatures have been over 100 degrees. I’ve even left it in my car while I shop for a couple of hours - still cool water. I carry the bottle with me every morning for my two mile walk followed by a couple of hours of gardening. It is easy to carry - much more comfortable than other bottles I’ve used and I don’t need to use a separate strap or sleeve. Yes, it is a bit heavier than most bottles but it hasn’t been an issue for me. It is so much easier to hold than anything else I’ve used. I don’t mind the slight increase in weight. I just boxed up my old water bottles to donate. I can’t imagine using them again. Compared to the others, the design of this bottle is brilliant. I’m so glad I bought it on a whim.

I really like this bottle...the way it looks, the nice little touches, and the simplistically designed cap for easy cleaning.One thing to take note of is that double walled stainless steel insulation makes the bottle a little heavy when full. The upside to the weight is that it does do a good job of keeping beverages cold. Water is still chilled all day/night (about 8 to 10 hours) even though the ice will have melted.What I like about this bottle compared to another popular brand is the simplistic straw and cap mechanism. It is easier to see all the pieces or lack there of, and clean them. Simple design does mean that the flip top mouth piece is manual unlike the other bottle where you press a button and it pops up. So there is give and take there. My kids prefer the push button pop up feature. But they're not the ones cleaning the bottles...A nice touch this bottle has that the other bottle does not is the short silicone sleeve on the outside. Keeps bottle from getting dented/scratched when dropped. And even when it does gets dented, the sleeve hides the flaws otherwise stainless bottles can look like heck after a while even though they still work fine. the sleeve also creates a soft landing for the full heavy bottles on my granite and marble counter tops.I appreciate how well this bottle is made, the functional and visual design. Very high quality. I can see everything is perfect and smooth. And the stainless steel at the bottle neck is highly polished.I got the 14 oz. for my first grader, liked it so much, I bought a second for younger child. Then after envying their bottles for a few weeks, broke down and purchased this 32 oz. version for myself. I'm happy every time I see it and use it and sip cold water from it. The 32 oz. is wide and does not fit in any of the cup holders in my cars. But I can throw it in my bag and it does not leak (if closed tightly and properly) or produce any condensation.One frustrationg thing is the pricing variance on Amazon. One day they're $25. Then $30. Today they were $35-$45 each depending on color!?!?! There is no reason a water bottle needs to be $45.

Meet my new best friend! Look no further hydro homies-this is it! First let me say I’ve had my hydro flask for a long time. I had replaced the screw cap bc it was inefficient for effective hydration. I had replaced it with the sport cap and lived my life to what I thought was the fullest. I had dropped in the gym a time or two and the bottom had dented, leaving my bottle all sorts of wobbly. About a week my cat picked up a new sport of jumping on my night stand and rocking my bottle around, waking me up like a little jerk. That began my search for a new water bottle. After lots of research I came across this lovely new treasure.The hook is magnificent because you can use it and then flip it down when you don’t need it. The cap. Oh honey! The cap! So it’s a screw top but it’s a small spout about the size of a sports cap without that annoying slurping glugging sound. No my cap gets protection vs a typical sports cap. It’s perfect! Like honestly I don’t know how a cap could be better.The rubber bumper is great so you don’t have that GONG noise when you set your metal down on a metal gym stair or a concrete step.It’s a bit on the heavy side strictly because it’s double insulated so I don’t even know if you’d couldn’t that as a negative. I also got the 40 oz so when you put water in there, yeah it’s not going to be something you throw on your hip and go for a run.I’m not kidding when I say this is the best water bottle of my life. This is going to be my right hand man y’all. This is it. It’s my proclamation, hydration nation! Hydrate or Diiiiiie!

Leaks constantly! Tried everything and no way to contact the seller. Overpriced and doesn't even deliver. Do yourself a favour and just buy a decent one for a reasonable price. Had high expectations when I saw a review for this one and I like the design but no point having it when it leaks in the bag.

Es súper resistente, tiene una especie de goma abajo que se puede quitar pero a mi me encanta porque así no se va despintando, ni lastimando, aún así el material que usan para pintar la botella es lo mejor y no se raya como normalmente lo hacen las botellas de acero. Mantiene el agua súper fría aún dejando la botella en el coche bajo el sol y el color está increíble

I love this bottle (ordered the purple 32 oz.). I use it at the gym every day. I love that it is big, sturdy, leak-proof, the opening is large so I can add ice cubes, and I don’t have to touch the part of the lid where I drink from with my hands. And it is easy to clean thoroughly. I also like that it has a handle. Well worth the price. I have not yet used it with hot beverages but it does keep the cold liquids cold for a very long time.

Soy muy especial para elegir una botella, lo que más suele importarme es la capacidad por lo que me encanta que esta sea de caasi 1 L.El anillo que tiene en la parte de abajo de silicón me ha servido incluso para que no se resbale mi botella y creo me ha ayudado a evitar abolladuras.Me encanta la boquilla que tiene y que también pueda abrirse por completo, es fácil de lavar.Mantiene bien la temperatura, caliente o fría, el único contra que podría darle es que al colocar té, queda el olor e incluso un poco el sabor en la boquilla por un tiempo, después desaparece. Me pasó la primera vez y desde entonces no he querido agregar nuevamente cosas calientes, ya que uso para esta botella para tomar agua simple principalmente.MEGA PRO: es súper amarilla! <3
