Looks loads better and feels really sturdy, and the cable management is a nice touch.

I couldn't use this with the weight of either a Shure MV7 or SM7B. The arm couldn't withstand the weight, no matter how much you tighten the bracket.Plus, it was rusted.

This isn't a _bad_ mic arm, but it's not a _good_ mic arm either unfortunately; it does do what it says on the tin - my Blue Yeti X fits perfectly with one of the included adapters, it clamps easily to my desk and lets me swing the mic out of the way.The problem is that the only thing fighting gravity to hold the mic up is the friction joints, and once they are tightened enough to stop it dropping under the weight of itself and the mic when extended it becomes very, very stiff and cumbersome to adjust. A gas-strut arm would be much better in that regard and I'd honestly recommend paying the extra if you're someone who needs to move the mic often (as in you rarely use it). If you're a full time mic user then the lack of easy adjustability probably isn't a concern, and in that case this is a great purchase!It's definitely well built so full marks for sturdiness!

Upon purchasing this mic arm I initially really liked it. It looks sleek, seemed to hold my Yeti Nano mic well and moved and bent as I needed it to.However after having it for less than a year I am extremely disappointed that this "Heavy Duty Mic Stand" has broken in two places though just normal use. The adapter it comes with has sheered off inside my microphone - meaning not only can my microphone no longer be mounted, but I can't mount any different mics on the arm either as the soft metal the adapter is made from is impossible to remove from the mic arm.After this I tried to remove the arm from my desk and realised that the mount too has sheered in some way and can't be loosened at all. So it's completely stuck attached to the corner of my desk.

If you plan on using the mic at a low height relative to the table (arm parallel to the table), you may experience issues with the hinge that slots into the table mount. Even when tightening as much as I could, the arm would slowly go down until the mic stops on the table.

No puedo estar más contento con este brazo para mi micro. Es justo lo que estaba buscando, es sólido, oculta bien el cable y una vez puesto en su lugar ya no tienes que tocarlo más. Una cosa importante, si necesitas cambiar de posición todo el tiempo el micro quizá no es el soporte indicado para ti. De muy buenos acabados y calidad.

Strong enough to hold a Blue Yeti X. Had to tighten the screw a bit, but after that the mic kept it,s place everywhere i want it. Very good material and nicely fabricated.

Ich bin mit dem Mikrofonarm zufrieden für den PreisEr ist stabil gebaut und man kann die Kabel gut verstauenDer einzige Kontrapunkt ist, dass man den Arm fest einstellen muss.Heißt: Nur die beiden Gelenke die den Arm mit dem Mikrofon selbst und mit dem Fuß auf dem Tisch verbinden sind nachher verstellbar.Wenn man ein schweres Mikrofon wie das ein Blue Yeti nutzt, leiert auch die Schraube an der 360° Verbindung aus und muss ab und zu nachgezogen werden.
