Roasted crickets offer a great crunch. You can add them to many dishes that will benefit from a bit of texture. Tacos and burritos are favorites among many entomophagists because they are so versatile. You can add roasted crickets to the top of tacos for the full effect or you can add them to a burrito and see if people recognize that they are eating crickets. For many, they will not even be able to detect insects at all. They will think you added a nut or veggie. > 60% protein by volume > 26 mcg B12 per 100 grams - Beef has 1-2 mcg per 100grams > High in iron and calcium > Low in fat > All 9 essential amino acids > Omega 6:3 ratio of 3:1 > Chitin Fibre – A source of Prebiotics – used as an antimicrobial gut agent

Taste way better than they look
I've given these out to at least a dozen skeptical people, some of whom were REALLLLLLY skeptical.90% of people say, "that wasn't so bad." That means it was actually good.

Not whole crickets
These things taste really bad. Like a really really old nut. So I said of course it’s not gonna taste good out of this plastic container, did some research and people say boil them before you cook and season them so I did and it still taste like that old nut with butter and garlic hahahaha. Just going to grind them up and put them in my shakes. Also they are absolutely not WHOLE that’s a lie and a half. Disappointed in the purchase but know that another company will ha e better:)

nutty flavor, great for salads and rice. a meal for the advenerous.
being adventurous, i went into purchasing these after i saw documentaries of how nutritious and beneficial it would be to raise insects as food.so i called this purchase the gateway bug. this tastes exactly like nuts!and the nutrition on these are a ratio of protein to fat being 3 to 1crunchy, nutty, would make a great substitute for beef jerky or croutons on a salad for extra protein.

Good quality, shipping times take a while
Good quality, did take a while to get here. I initially thought it was lost and reported it not mailed, but 1 day it just showed up a while after purchase date. Wish they weren’t so pricey, but it is comparable to other companies

Perfect NET CARB Count and My Pet Skunk LOVES THESE and does not gain weight !!!!
My pet skunk cannot eat enough of these... He scarfs them down faster than I can put them on the ground for him... One of the very few roasted crickets who actually list the CARBS AND SUGARS on the packet and it is GREATLY APPRECIATED because most pet snacks I find do not list it and hide extra carbs and sugar in EVERYTHING from crickets, meal worms, larva etc... I will continue to purchase lots and lots of these as they have become staple part of my boys diet... Please do not discontinue item

Opened the box and realized I’ve made a terrible mistake.
Opened the box and realized I’ve made a terrible mistake. I was looking for a vegetarian protein source and thought cricket might be ok to eat. Boy was I wrong. They also have a no refund policy which is cool because most people would send these back if they could.
