My 10 yr old niece loves slime. So this was a no Brainerd for her. Being glittery and glow in the dark made it stand out. She had a great time mixing it up and seeing it glow. I didn't expect it to last long so when she got nearly a week I was impressed. By then the wow had worn off and she have on to something else. But for what it is, it was a hit.

this is a super fun slime kit with tons of add ins and things to do.

This slime kit comes with little things to add to the slime, glow powder, and a small black light. And it all comes in a hugely unnecessary container. Except that I can re-use the container for other things, so that can be useful.Our kids had recently used a slime kit in the same size container, where they got to mix the chemicals to make the actual slime before adding little items and sparkles to it. So this kit was less exciting for the same price. It also wasn’t that much more exciting than all the other “regular” kits of butter slimes (and the like), that come with little sprinkles and things to add to the slime. Those kits often come with more slime and additives for the same price, they just don’t include a glow feature or a light.The glitter in this kit isn’t really sticking to the slime. Instead it’s falling all over my house. The glow-in-the dark feature worked when the slime was first made, but has worn off after a couple weeks and doesn’t work anymore.So if you know your kids will super enjoy the glowing feature and flashlight - this may be a good kit for you. If your kids won’t care much about that feature, then personally I’d recommend getting more slime in a multipack for the same price.The kids seemed more pleased with the kit than I was, though.

I ordered this DIY slime set for my 10-year-old daughter. She loves slime, and this set did not disappoint. This set is a little different than some of her other DIY's. This set the slime is pre-made. You just add the different black light powders, foams, and glitters. It also comes with a black light. The slime wasn't super stretchy, but has a great texture. It would also make a great gift.

This comes with good slime, very "fluffy" rather than nasty/sticky/unpleasant.And then you add in some glow-in-the-dark powder and little foam beads and glittery shapes, and you can make it glow with the included tiny blacklight.That's pretty much it. The kids had a good time doing it, though it didn't occupy them for all THAT long. For my two kids, each mixing up two of the four slimes it comes with, we maybe got 20 or 30 minutes out of it, including going in the bathroom to see the slime glowing after hit by the blacklight (which, to be fair was cool).The kit comes in a plastic tote box that's way bigger than it needs to be to hold the small amount of materials provided (this is presumably to make it have a bigger visual impact). Though it's a good resealable container, which we're keeping around for other craft storage, so I'm not necessarily complaining.There's a little collectible charm packet in there. I can't imagine this is anything more than a tiny bonus for most people, at beast, but my daughter enjoyed briefly looking up with collectible tiny thing she got.

They had a great deal of fun mixing their slime and making their own unique creations.While making slime creations goes by pretty quickly, they did spend the afternoon going back to their creations to use the black light, an added and fun benefit.This slime was surprisingly not as messy as I anticipated, and we simply put the slime in zipper bags and tucked it back in the carrier.If you are looking for a winning gift, kids will see this black light slime creation kit as a 10/10!

My daughter had such a great time playing with this slime and making it glow.Everything you need is included: pre-made slime, black light powder, container to mix, mix-ins (glitter and foam pieces) and a black light!It was as easy as pouring the slime into the bowl, adding the powder and combining.Then she was able to add any of the add-ins she wanted and instantly use the black light to see the glowing colors. If you shine the black light on the slime for an extended time, the light will glow longer.Highly recommend this for kids and slime-lovers everywhere.
