GEORGE KOVACSP4035-084, 5 Light Monorail Kit, Brushed Nickel

I knew I wanted this type of lighting for over the long eating counter in my new kitchen. But after looking at lighting stores, I was becoming discouraged. Most of the monorail-type lighting such as this is REALLY expensive. One system would have cost me $500 just for the railing -- no pendants, no lights, nothing.There are similar lighting fixtures at the big-box home improvement stores (Lowe's, Home Depot), but there weren't any that didn't look cheap or were obviously made cheap...or both.I wanted a fixture where the lights were moveable across the track and also where the individual lights could be angled in any direction. This light fixture fulfills both requirements.The look is very streamlined, very classy and sleek. It's the perfect look. The light output is really great too.I'm very happy with this. For the price, quality, and features, it can't be beat. :)

Well made, easy to install, looks Great.

The light is beautiful but three of the bulbs had burnt out within the first month. We bought another Kovacs monorail kit four years ago and those lights are still going strong.

fairly easy to install and bend into shape. The lights are a nice color but could be a tad brighter. I wish there was a way to buy just one of two of the light fixtures to add to the rail to boost the brightness.

UPDATE: No longer love this lamp. One of five sockets went out in a week. ONLY recourse is to return entire item. NO manufacturer warranty!!Love the light! After a long time searching, this was the one I had imagined for my son's room. The ceiling fixture is in the corner of the room. Great way to get light throughout the room. FWIW - Installation is easier with two 4 stars. I did it alone and wished the wife was home.

Purchased this 3 months ago . Seemed fine after a month . After 2 months, all the lights began to flicker and than it went off completely when you tried to turn it on . I called the electrician ( $ 100 ) back and he tightened all connection and I bought a new dimmer . It seemed okay . One month later the lights began to flicker and now it turns on and then off. Now I'm facing another electrician expense.Very poor quality product ...Really frustrating .

I bought this light at Home Depot In sept 2017. It worked good for about 1.5 years then the power supply burnt out and was no longer functional. I was out of warranty but wanted the same style so I purchased another set from amazon. SameDeal. Worked great for about 1.5 years and now is flickering and sputtering.. I bet the power supply goes out on this one soon too. Pathetic and a waste of money. For $350 that shouldn’t happen.

We replaced our kitchen light last summer with this one and unfortunately the transformer shorted out two weeks ago (after only seven months). A quick email after looking up the order here on Amazon to see what we could do led to a quick reply with notice that a replacement was being shipped out immediately. A+ to LAMPS Plus Customer Service for doing the right thing the first time! You have a repeat customer!
