Heart-pounding, deep, sexy, perfect story!
This is my 2nd book of the Bennett security series and I loved it!! So exciting. I love this author because the main (hero/heroine) characters are explained so well that you really get to know them, feel like you can relate to them! āHands Offā was also absolutely excellent and I am reading āhung upā next. I canāt wait! This series is so good!

Tanner and Faith
This was another great addition to the Bennett Security series. Both the h and the H were a little broken and insecure and that really worked in making their relationship believable. I liked that they started out as friends with secret crushes and that developed into so much more.Tanner is a bodyguard for Bennett Security who has been struggling with PTSD after getting a concussion on a job six months ago. He feels like all the progress he made after he retired from the SEALs was for nothing and he had failed. Faith was trying to start over. She had been forced into a loveless marriage as a teenager to a man who struggled with addiction and selfishness.Tanner and Faith start out as friends. He saves her from a failed first date and takes her on a spectacular date that leaves them both wanting more than friendship but to afraid to admit their feelings to each other. They are finally forced to admit their feelings after a failed double date and never looked back after that.Faith is also dealing with the reemergence of her ex. Tanner is determined to help her get rid of him once and for all and keep her safe. When the stress gets to be too much for his PTSD he is faced with getting professional help when he is almost too late to help Faith. This was a very well written book. I loved how patient both Tanner and Faith were with each other. They both needed time to divulge every piece of their pasts to each other and instead of pushing they showed their love and understanding by waiting until they were ready. Tanner was the perfectly flawed alpha hero for Faith.

Hannah , you are an amazing woman to open up your heart & write your stories. Faith & Tallent met & were attracted to each other from the start. Tallent,s PTSD was described very close to what the veterans go through. With Faith,s parents & her xhusband, s drug use had to be so scary! Glad they were together forever ! I am ready for next book !! Always remember you are awesome !!

Too much everything
Hold Tight is a 334-page military romance and the fourth in the Bennett Security series. This book focuses on Tanner and Faith, who are each Sylvie's friends. The FMC and MMC's growth focuses on the strength of character to stand up for what is right just as much as it does on the strength to admit weakness and ask for help. I found this book a much more challenging read. I don't normally care for anything related to drug usage. I also felt it plodded along as opposed to other works by Ms. Shield that flowed faster. This isn't my favorite in the series, but it does help build the understanding of the unit and the people of Bennett Security. I borrowed this book from KU and I do recommend it.

Heart
I liked this story. I liked how brave Tanner was to seek help for PTSD, that wasn't easy. Both overcoming obstacles and are better for it.

PTSD
I appreciate it when an author writes about subjects that are not hit on too often. Of course it makes the characters more real, relatable, but the information provided makes the reader more aware. Thank you.

Faith and Tanner.Wow! I really enjoyed reading this story. The ups and downs, twists, all the emotions I could just feel it come out of the book. The characters were great. Some of them, not so good but it added to the story. The plot and storyline were great too.Read it

Glass ½ full vs. glass ½ empty
Faith and Tanner are the next of Hannah Shields' characters to have their story told. What I came away with was that everybody deals with trauma in their own unique way. Faith walked away from her abusive ex-husband (a drug dealer), and was prepared to put herself out there to start another relationship (hmm, rather funny story there...), Tanner has PTSD, which hasn't been helped by getting concussed as well, and does not want to be a burden to anyone. As a couple, they compliment each other and support each other while facing the demons straight on. Go them š!
