Good flavour, but some noticeable pieces of grit
I use a mix of fresh and dried mushrooms to make mushroom risotto, soaking the dried mushrooms beforehand and using the soaking liquor through the rice for a strong mushroom flavour. I’ve used porcini and chanterelles often, but woodear was a new variety for me. They add a distinctive, darker colour and are quite strong tasting. This seems a good selection of mushrooms, nice and earthy. The only negative I have is that there were a few gritty bits on some of the ones I’ve used so it seems they could have been cleaned better before drying.

Mixed mushrooms for different flavor profiles
I love these dried mushrooms! I love that they are a mix of three different types of mushrooms, so I can taste different flavour profiles. The porcini mushrooms add a deep, earthy flavour, the chanterelles add a fruity sweetness, and the woodear mushrooms add a chewy texture and a slightly sour note. I find that they bring many layers of flavour to my risotto.

Overpriced like all the dried mushrooms
Only good for stewing and using as a bland dishwater mushroom stock.Shame, but tasteless at best and wishy washy dirty dishwater at wort...
