Size:25  |  Color:Desert Tan These brass eyelets with 1/4" diameter hole have been powder coated, offering better scratch resistance than paint. These are often used with Kydex in making custom shealths and holsters. Flares very well without splitting. Made in the USA!

Great for boot repair
Used these to replace a pair of broken eyelets in my Georgia 9-hole loggers. Set very nicely with the flaring die also made by Texas Knifemakers Supply, and had no trouble with the powder coat chipping. Happy to recommend.

only 1 out of 25 did not tear or discolor
At first I thought it was my technique, I tried an Arbor Press, I tried a jewelers hammer nothing, I tried a sludge hammer, I even tried a hammer drill to sort of heat it up and form which worked better than most, but took off the black coating from the brass. simply they're just to thin, and if you don't have a robot applying the same amount force each time. they're not for you.
