These are great. They're padded enough to really protect what's underneath, they're large enough to provide needed cover, and they are very absorbent. We use them as under pads during bed baths and they work very nicely.

These pads are really excellent. We use them for our dog's crate. Our dog is incontinent, and was peeing on her bedding in her crate at night. The pads cover her bedding and now all we have to do is throw away the pad and we don't have to wash the bedding. Nothing goes through the pad. They are sturdy and well made.

Pricey, but worked well for my elderly father. I like there is no plastic backing that would be noisy. Somehow the fabric back still contained the wetness.I also cut pads in half & put in a low entry litter box for elderly Maltese. She is now housebroken & the Northshore pads are cheaper than the ones marked for dogs since she weewees a lot, & the doggy ones don't hold much & slide! The Northshores don't slide around because there's no plastic backing. Use 1/2 pad a day & can fold remaining overhang back over used half to make it to next morning box cleaning & new pad. When used a cheaper dog pad had to change up to 5x a day, this half pad costs about$ .88 a day.👍🙄

I use this pad at night. The pads are made like very thick, woven paper towels. The waterproof backing is not slick plastic. Because the pads are not made like a multi-layer diaper with a plastic backing, they stay in place, do not wad up as easily, and you stay cool. While small leaks do not disappear as quickly as on a pad with the top wicking layer, they dry and the pad may be used again. I have not noticed any retained odor. I rotate the pad and move the spot. I have waited until the 4th packet to write this review. The only reason I didn't give these pads five stars is because I do not toss and turn when I sleep, so I cannot guarantee that they will be just as great for a restless sleeper.

Great product

Excellent absorption and keeps the person dry who is laying on the pad! Makes it so easy for the caregiver!!

Used for intended purpose; only average wear.

You can buy lesser quality pads for a smaller outlay of $spent, but you will not find a better pad than this, as these excellent pads will absorb a LOT of liquid and all you have to do is fold it up and put in the trash. No leaks and therefor no smells.
