LOVE for dry skin
I'm 32 years old and I have VERY dry, sensitive skin. I previously purchased the NYX hydrating primer (blue tube) with hyaluronic acid, it's sort of similar to the Neutrogena Hydrogel moisturizer, and loved it but decided to try something a little "stronger" for winter. This is perfect! A little bit goes a long way, so start with just like a drop per cheek and forehead and pat into skin from there. You can always add more as needed. It's also great to touch up during the day on top of makeup, just pat on to areas that get dry. Avoid the eye area since you shouldn't use an oil around your eyes anyway and esp not if wearing any eye makeup. This bottle will last you forever! I will say the packaging needs improvement as the dropper can leak, and your supposed to twist it shut but it can be tricky. It's not a deal breaker at all but hopefully they will change that soon. If you have very some moisture issues but also some oily spots (t zone etc) I recommend just using this on the areas that get dry. If you have oily skin but still need hydration I recommend trying the NYX hydrating primer in the blue tube. This is an oil, after all, so don't be surprised when it's oily. It's not greasy, unless maybe load it on, just be very light handed and pat onto skin. It's really a face saver!

Fixed my dry skin that showed through makeup!
I was experiencing really dry patches of skin that would flake around my lips, sides of nose, and on my cheekbones. I use a dewy foundation and powder for my makeup, and in these winter months you could see the dry cracks in my skin through my makeup. This product has made those dry flaky spots totally disappear while it is on my face. I am super impressed, and wish I had looked into a primer like this sooner.More pros: I have sensitive skin, and this product has not made me break out (been using 2 weeks) so that is a major plus! Also another unexpected bonus-my makeup comes off SO MUCH BETTER at the end of the day, and it lasts much longer. I take my makeup wipe and it is covered when I’m done removing before bed. Previously with no primer I wasn’t getting much off at all (even if makeup was applied at night. This also proves that the primer helps keep the makeup on because it’s obviously lasting on my face all day when applied in the morning.Overall, I’m SUPER happy with this product and will buy again. I’m not sure what will happen in the summer time when my skin becomes more oily, but for right now in the winter, it’s doing the trick.

Great for dry patches if you're oily
Ok so I have oily skin, but I used to say the crap out of my skin to combat the oiliness. Needless to say it was making my oil glands kick into overdrive, hence making me an even oilier mess. This oil is fantastic for those dry patches I get sometimes. And to make a long story short I use adapaline gel &it can give me dry patches, & my skin peels. It has helped my skin tremendously and so has this oil! It's also amazing for dry under eyes , I take 1 drop and pat it gently under my eyes prior to makeup. Make sure u let it dry for 2-5 minutes. This makes a world of difference. If u go right into your makeup routine, the oil just sits on top cause u didn't give it the time to absorb. So be patient & don't rush. Or else you will be an oily, runny mess. Also great to pat on as the last step.to skincare at night. Again let it absorb before hitting the sheets. If this oily girl loves it- I think all skin types will too!! Do your research on the ingredients, I find this is helpful with trying out any new products.

A fabulous skin prep!
I really experience dryer skin in the winter. And I also have some foundations in my collection that are on the dryer or more matte side. I wanted something to put under them, more than just my moisturizer, to make my makeup look smoother, fresher and prettier. I'm really pleasantly surprised at how much I like this. It goes on so smoothly, sinks right in and doesn't feel greasy. I don't feel that it's a typical primer, I don't know if it really fits that category. But it does prep my skin nicely. I don't reach for it on the days that I use any of my more moisturizing foundations. It's too much then. Another thing I do use it for is as a mixer for certain foundations. It adds moisture and a nice glow, making some foundations that I typically find not so usable, very nice on my skin. The packaging is different, and a bit hard to get used to, but it does work well once you get used to it. But I would never trust this enough to travel with it. I think it's too risky, with the way the packaging is designed, that it might leak.

Tried it as a dupe for Jaclyn Hills makeup trick with the smashbox version and eh...
It leaks if I put it in a makeup bag and anything oily is terrible to clean up. Also i bought it as a dupe to the smashbox oil primer because I saw a Jaclyn Hill video where she used it over her full face of makeup to fix the cakey-ness that can happen after applying everything and it did lift a little bit but it just didn't do that job. Also I tried it as just a primer and omg no lol I have dry skin and sometimes I do get an oily t zone but idk if oil primers are my thing. I just remember trying it once both ways and nope never again lol im not saying it's a bad product it just didn't work for me no matter what way I tried it

Get this if you have dry skin
I have very, very dry skin. My go to moisturizer is Vanicream, but I was still so dry in my worst area (around my eyebrows) that makeup would breakdown almost right away. This is a game changer for me. In the morning my routine is now serums, Vanicream, then Hyrdatouch (letting each absorb before moving onto the next). I mix the Hyrdatouch into my foundation (elf Camo CC+), as well, if I'm wearing any.I have also used it to revive some dried out Colorstay and Color Tattoo cream eye shadows.I am very sensitive to scents, but this doesn't bug me at all. Very pleasant light citrus scent, but not enough to give me a migraine. If you have dry skin try this out.NYX, please don't discontinue this product!
