Fab knife set
Love these- I got the set of 3 on prime day for quite a reasonable price for such good knives. I'm very happy with them. They are very pretty, heavy to hold and I don't feel like they are going to break like my last knife set did. Well worth the investment.

Fantastic...
Bought the same set a month ago on Black Friday but with square ended handles for £85 with £15 discount.Loved them so bought so bought 3 more sets for presents for £85 per set but with sloping handle ends. They all say best present ever!Metal blade look is slightly different but prefer sloped handles.Use them daily washing under tap as I go and always taking great care to put them down in safe place.Wish I had purchased them years ago. They are a joy to use keep very sharp and you are able to cut slithers on all foods with very little pressure, even old tomatoes. They are VERY sharp so tucking your fingers back and using knuckles as a guide is essential to avoid cuts which could easily be very deep. They are well balanced, medium weight and comfortable in hand. It took a while to get the hang of them due to being scared of self inflicted wounds, however they have changed the way I think of cooking from a chore to pleasure.Another kitchen item recently purchased and being a game changer was a Ninja Dual Zone air fryer (AF400UK) plus essential basket and grilling rack purchased seperately.Just adore cooking food now and these items have not only made it easier and quicker with huge energy savings, but much better tasting food, so can now ask friends around with confidence they will enjoy food...

My First Real Knife Set
Not cheap, but the quality is amazing. The difference to my prep.and meat cutting was obvious from the first cut.The block is quality, looks great and is obviously well made. The knives are very well balanced and feel comfortable in the hand.

Extremely sharp out of the box. Santoku means "Three Virtues".
These arrived simply packaged in a retail cardboard box and inside each knife has the tip capped with a plastic cover for safety purposes. You get three knives in the set: Chef Knife, Santoku Knife and Paring Knife. The Santoku knife is classed as a general-purpose knife and can be used for meat, fish, vegetables and can slice, chop and dice, making a very handy knife to have around. Santoku means “Three Virtues”.Both the handles and blades are quite ornate on these knives. The pattern on the handles is described a being “hammered” and I found the grip the be very good on them. I not sure how you would describe the pattering on the blade, it looks a bit like oil in water if that make sense.I already have a set of professional knives from a very well-known brand, another set from a well-known household brand and two other Japanese knives but these are the first Damascus Japanese style ones I have had. I am not a professional by the way.I have to say that, out of the box, they are the sharpest I have come across. Cutting things like onions, peppers, etc was like a sharp knife though warm butter. I really was surprised. The weight and balance was excellent. Now, this was out of the box, and it will be interesting to see how well they last before they need sharpening and then how well the blades come back. Particularly as that is something I would do at home myself.I do appreciate the fact that you can pay substantially more, I am talking £100s, for just one knife than this whole set costs but I do think these knives are very good value. They are not “professional” but great for home use. They are dishwasher safe but personally I like hand wash then and dry immediately. They do come with a lifetime warranty but that is with the manufacturer. However, they do have their own website and have been going since 1992. They are based in China, so unsure how you would go about claiming under the warranty.Overall, I do really like these knives and am impressed with the design and how sharp they are. Hopefully they will sharpen up just as good.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.

Really nice knives
For the price, these are unbeatable. All came in excellent condition, including knife block. Beautifully made with good balance. I like the solid handles too, makes the knives easy to clean.Blades are nicely laminated, I can’t fault them at all. They cut cleanly, are very sharp out of the box, really pleased. You won’t buy better for the price. Go ahead and pay more, if you wish, but unless you’re some sort of Michelin star chef you’re not going to get much better for a lot more money.

Very Sharp
These knives are fantastic, so so sharp and well made and balanced. I have been told that when sharpening them you need a sharpener with an angle of 16 degrees.

Super scharfe Messer

Edle Optik - superscharfe Klingen
