This is a great hackamore for my bit shy horse
This is a great hackamore for my bit shy horse. A trainer from a previous owner was rough on his mouth but he has no issue with this hackamore at all. Now my horse and I are all systems go! I would purchase this again and would recommend this to anyone who may have a horse who is touchy with their mouths for whatever reason. I hope this helps if you are on the fence!

Cheaply made
This item came in and right away I noticed it was cheaply made. One of the joints on the shank did not move even after applying a lubricant. I returned item over a month ago and still have not received refund. Have disputed charge on my credit card.

Horse does great with this hackamore
So far, so good. My horse does very well with this hackamore. The rubber cover seems to be a little more comfortable than others I've tried. Happy horse =happy riding

Good Price, meh on the Quality Control
The first order of this hackamore bit came with a very bad weld that impinged upon the movement of the nose band. Since the price was good, I took a chance and reordered the same bit again, hoping the second one would have a little better quality control. It was a bit better but had some burrs and sharp edges which we smoothed out using a dremel tool. Since it's half the price of some other hackamore bits of the same style, I'll give credit for a good price, but knock down a few stars for a lack of quality control.

Very good for the price
I own a thoroughbred and he was real comfortable with the hackamore,and responded real good ,there was a sharp metal burr on it but I filed it down smooth
