Listen up ladies, this is more of a dead skin remover and callus remover than a shaver. If you have short stubble you will get the benefit of a shave from it too. But it works wonders when taking dead skin off!! I've had two or three ingrown hairs near my knee surgery scars that I've not ever been able to get to the surface and this took care of them. And woooohoo my legs were smooth. Two more things. DO NOT use a circular motion-if you do you'll get burns like in other reviews. Read the instructions. Go up and back down like shaving and be prepared to rinse it and possibly your legs. Use it after a bath or shower your skin is softer and less irritated. Using it dry is asking for something akin to razor burn, eventually. Don't use it on long hair legs, arms etc. Ouch. It will miss psyched and you'll want to keep going over it but if you do you'll give yourself razor burn. Use your razor first. I use an electric one then this smooths everything shiny soft. Test a patch to make sure you're not sensitive. I wouldn't use it on your privates or face to you'd just be borrowing trouble where you don't want it. Use lotion after, you should be doing this already unless you're 16 and don't know better. And last, this should be only be used every 2-3 WEEKS. Not daily or weekly. Using it too often can burn or irritate your skin. Mom is done with her lecture. Use your common sense ladies and this is a great tool, not a replacement for shaving.

I had really high hopes for this and really wanted to love it. I promise I am not being dramatic or embellishing anything in writing this review, this was truly my experience. I followed all of the steps as described on the box (see photo) and I am in an incredible amount of pain. I used it gently but enough to see it removing hair (but it still didn’t remove all the hair). It didn’t hurt at all while I was using it but after I got out of the shower and dried my legs, they felt raw. Then I did the 4th step on the box, apply lotion. It felt like I had set my legs ON FIRE. I used lotion with eucalyptus, Cerave unscented for sensitive skin, and Aloe and ALL of them burned really badly (this is when I took the photos). A few hours have passed and now my legs are swollen and have huge red raised blotches all over and they look much worse than the photos. It’s the equivalent of sanding your skin with sandpaper. It feels like I have severe carpet burn everywhere I used this. It took a lot longer than shaving and DID NOT remove all the hair. The hair removal is very patchy. I wish I had returned it, but my return window closed yesterday :(This may be a good tool to use on rough dead skin on feet when doing home pedicures, but I haven’t tested that.

I will say it definitely works and is very easy go use! Fortunately for me my skin is pretty tough and can handle how this works. But I do feel a slight irritation after using it, which means if you have sensitive skin you would not benefit from this. I do like the convenience of not using water or having to stand and I think I would take it with me when I travel, but other than that it took me just as long as it would to shave in the shower and my skin was slightly irritated after using it.

If you've ever worn cheap synthetic leggings and had your leg hair tweaked by them--that's what using this stone feels like. The difference is the microweave of this substance of sorcery actually cuts the hair.I have super sensitive skin, and while rubbing the stone lightly over my legs left a mild pinkness, it was gone within an hour. I can see where some folx complain of it leaving them very red. Not strawberries exactly, but sun-kissed pink. I also see why the instructions advise against using it on your face or under arm. Basically anywhere that skin touches skin (further friction) would be bad. You basically apply NO pressure at all and it works (re: cheap synthetic leggings).There are no detailed instructions in the box, beyond rub, remove. It doesn't say anything about hair length, though I found that longer hair doesn't remove as easily as short. It will work, but you have to rub longer, which angers the skin more quickly. It does exfoliate as you work, so it seems like it would eventually start to get funky. The instructions say nothing about washing it. You can see the area you've used it on, as it turns ashy. Moisturizing after use will help that, as would a skin soother.In all, this is way better than any razor I've ever used, even the subscription services. There's no need for any cream. You don't have to use a lotion or oil with it unless it helps make the experience less irritating. And this was worth $9. My life is changed.

I read through some of the other reviews on this product and they do NOT match the product. This is a hair removal product, not perfume. There is no smell. And after you use this product, there will be no hair either!As soon as I got this thing in my mail I rolled up my jeans and started "erasing". My husband who usually teases me about some of the products I buy laughed at it because it's yet another hair removal product. I've tried so many of them and they all have fallen short of my expectations! I hate shaving, but I also hate having hair on my legs! I've tried waxing, and some of the home waxing products are ok, but none of them do as good a job as going to a salon... but going to a salon takes time and money and I'm cheap.This little erasure was just the thing.. inexpensive, easy, and supposedly no pain. All of it was true!! IT'S ALL TRUE! Within 10 minutes both of my legs (just knees to toes mind you) were not only hairless, but as soft as a babies bottom!! It also says on the box you can use it on your dry heals, so I did them as well and yep, my heals were softened as well! I will NEVER go to the salon again to get my legs waxed and I will never use anything else to get rid of the hair on my legs.!!
