Fluker'sDigital Thermometer and Hygrometer, Measures Temperature and Humidity on One device

The adhesive power is incredible. I know a lot of snake owners will yell and say "take that off the wall of your tank right now" because of the implied danger of snakes climbing on them and falling. But I applied rubbing alcohol to the PVC where I stuck this, held it for about 30 seconds with pressure, and these things aren't coming off for anything. My 2 lb python climbs all over them and they're not going anywhere.As for their actual job in measuring humidity? It's so so. Probably off by about 5-10%, which as long as you know that and have another more accurate hygrometer to gauge that and you're aware of those parameters then it's not a super big deal. The temperatures are off by about 3 degrees but temperature and humidity does also vary about in the top and bottom of the tank, so again it's good to have a secondary gauge. Overall they're good to have and easy to read.

I bought this to put in my tortoise's enclosure in order to accurately measure her heat and humidity. For the price, this is a great product. Very easy to use and comes with the battery. My only complaint is that the hydrometer hasn't been very accurate. The readings will bounce from 7%-60% throughout the day, even if no changes have been made. The thermometer has proved to be accurate though.

This tool has served it's purpose well, and I have few complaints. The screen can be difficult to read. The item doesn't seem to be water resistant in the slightest, despite it having a hygrometer and having the intended use to be inside terrariums. I would still buy this item again, and plan to when I get my new tank for a gargoyle gecko. The batteries in it seem to hold up well for a long time.I think Fluker's in general are nice products at an affordable price. I would be willing to pay more for a sturdier feel and water resistance.

I use the Fluckers Thermometer/Hygrometer for my snake cages. I have bought a higher priced one with probes that you put in the cage, but the reading don't seem to be as accurate. Plus, with the Flucker's one, I can put one at each end of the cage, at the level my snake is living at and make sure that it's ambiant and basking temps are at their optimum (and spend less for 2 than I did on the high priced one I bought). I have had to buy batteries for the just bought Fluckers, but that was a minimal cost. I cannot find these in my city, even though there is a PetCo, PetSmart and to local pet shops. Also, this product was MUCH cheeper purchasing it thru Amazon than thru the Fluckers site.

This is a pretty great little piece of hardware. I got one for my Crested Gecko's tank and liked it so much I immediately bought another to replace my Ball Python's current ambient thermometer/hygrometer. So far it's working very well in my crestie's enclosure, and having confirmed readings with a second piece of equipment, I can say that they are within about a degree/percentage point of each other. It's sleek, lightweight, and easy to read. It does what it's intended to do well with no frills. I like that, I'll leave the frills to the lizard, not her equipment.
