First off - with 3 grams of sugar per gummy, I'm not surprised these taste like candy. They have tapioca syrup AND sugar - so even though they might contain healthy ingredients, they also contain enough sugar to make it a little hard on the immune system.I do like the variety of mushrooms, but I'm a little scared of the warning on the bottle, which says, "Do not exceed 2 gummies in 24 hours." Warnings without explanation are troubling. I use other sources of mushrooms (mushroom coffee, mushroom syrup, etc), so it makes me wonder if I'm getting too much if I add this as well.Anyway, it is a good tasting gummy with decent ingredients, so it might be a good way to get the healthy mushrooms for some, but I feel afraid because of the warning, so I am going to go easy on these.

I'm a huge fan of medicinal mushrooms and try to get several varieties in my diet every day.Cure's gummies contain the equivalent of 2.5 grams of total mushrooms as 250mg of 10:1 extract. There is no breakdown of how much of each type of mushroom this contains, as it's a proprietary blend.Cure does a "triple extraction" on their mushrooms by first fermenting them, then doing a water extraction followed by an alcohol extraction. By doing this, they claim to get significantly more compounds than by just water alone. To call fermentation a third extraction seems a bit gimmicky, but the dual extraction process is better than using a single extraction method for some types of mushrooms. (There is evidence that dual extraction is detrimental for some types of mushrooms.) They use both the fruiting body and the mycelium in their extraction process.There is a QR code on the bottle that's supposed to lead to a Certificate of Analysis. It doesn't. It leads to a 404 error. I looked elsewhere on their website and was able to find the C of A for my lot of gummies. It's a two-page document outlining third party test results, issued directly from the third party. The gummies were tested for heavy metals, pathogens, myco, pesticides and toxins but not for mushroom content. That's probably because that third party, ACS Laboratory (not to be confused with ACS Labs/Denver Analytical), markets themselves heavily toward being specialized primarily in cannabis testing. I can find no information on their website about them testing other types of products.Now for the gummies themselves - they are cubes, slightly sticky but not so much that it's impossible to shake them apart to get one out. The problem is that they are waay too sweet. One tiny square gummy has 3 grams of sugar in it (2g added), and you can taste it. By comparison, one Haribo GoldBear gummy bear contains 1.07g of sugar, and that's actually candy. There is so much sugar that they're overly sweet, and kind of gross to eat because of it. The black raspberry flavor would be fine if it weren't for all of the sweetness in them, or even if they'd balanced it with some lemon.Sugar rush aside, I do like the Cure enough that I also picked up the Chaga and the Turkey Tail after learning more about the company. Their testing could be a bit more robust - in that they could actually provide test results about the beta /alpha glucans and triterpene content in their products, and they could use about half to a third of the sugar and these would easily be five stars.

I had given up on mushroom gummies because all the brands I tried were really gross tasting. I saw this brand on Amazon and was impressed that all the mushrooms are grown and processed in the USA. The mushrooms are grown in the Pacific Northwest which really sparked my interest since I live in oregon. The mushroom concentrate is made in California and certified Organic there too. These gummies are made in Nevada and they use the organic concentrate. Everything is USA grown and made and that in it’s self is awesome. I think some of the other mushroom gummies I’ve tried are made overseas and are awful. This is normal with any mushroom extract or for any mushrooms in general. This product is totally safe and one of the best mushroom extracts on the market - as I pointed out above this is made in the USA with tested, organic ingredients, so there should be no worries. Moreover, I would recommend taking this brand over “mushroom coffee or mushroom syrup”. This brand is more pure and effective than those other products. Also, you will know if you are getting too much mushroom if you listen carefully to your body - you will have more gas or slight digestive discomfort, but know this product is 100% safe!!!The flavor of these are spot on! They use Black Raspberry favoring which is deep, rich, natural, and very satisfying. It tastes just like Black Raspberry jam! There’s no weird mushroom flavor at all. The sweetness is perfect and nicely balanced with just a bit of tang. These are vegan and they use a tapioca syrup base, so it is totally natural and healthy.The texture is spot on too!!! The gummies are cube shape and they are chewing, but not sticky and very satisfying to munch on.You only need to take one of these to get a whopping dose of 2,500mg of 14 different mushrooms.
