My 3 year old has like a 2T waist and 3T legs, so I was worried about getting him shorts. They are awesome. They fit without having to tie the string ( helps so he can pull them down on his own for the potty). They're comfortable like actual basket ball shorts, good thick material but breathable, and they're stupid cute, colors are just a vibrant as pictured. I think he'll be able to wear them for awhile

I bought these shorts to send my son in to daycare. They are lightweight but a little long for him. I have to roll the waistband a couple times. Also, tie knots in the drawstrings immediately or they will come out in the washer/dry.

I have a small 5 year old who still wears 4T shorts/pants. These are pretty big on him, I could have gone with the 3T, especially because of the length. The waist is stretchy enough that you could size down without compromising the waist size. They are very long, so keep that in mind if you have a short little one. The fabric gets runs/ snags easily, and the string pulls right out. All of them have been pulled out, some even accidentally. The strings need a stitch in the back to keep them in place. The strings are also very long. Fine for play shorts.

Love these shorts! The price is good and they’re comfortable for my son! They’re definitely true to size - if not a bit big. I bought 3T’s for my son because he frequently needs a 3T in brands like Old Navy, Skechers, Nike, etc. I included pictures comparing these shorts in 2T and 3T to another brand.

Size was great, fit is very nice . Only thing, draw strings are long long. But very nice shorts

The colors are as pictured, and they are light weight. I purchased the 2T for my 3yr old (his normal size). They were somewhere between shorts and pants on him, so pretty long shorts. Real draw strings, which is a plus for my skinny little man. Unfortunately, the hem started coming undone on all of them after the first or second wash. I was constantly cutting strings off. The bottoms look all frayed now. We made it through shorts season here and I'm throwing these away. Not worth it as hand me downs.
