Good door
Good quality that fits well. I was a little apprehensive, but if you are somewhat handy you can make it work. Fits just like the factory flap. If you have a problem installing this, you will have a problem installing the factory one as well. It's definitely worth the savings. The last petsafe flap I had shattered in the winter when my dog came barreling through it. This one has held up just fine, and stays pliable below freezing. I am happy with it.

Looks brand new again!
The dog door we have has been on there for more than 15 years. The door is on an outside pool enclosure and had taken a beating from the sun and exposure. Installing the replacement flap was easy and a perfect fit. I’m very happy with the results, the dog door looks brand new.

It is decent for the price
This fit our backdoor perfectly and was not hard to put on. The only issue we had was the black plastic piece that slides across the bottom. It kept coming off so we used super glue to hold it on.

Ok. I have hounds. They chew everything.
Extremely well easy to replace. Works very well. Flexible and doesn’t jamb.

They just don’t work as well as the originals
After 15 years, the double old flaps got stiffer, but it did seal against the cold or hot outdoor. But my medium size dog was getting old and having a harder time pushing the stiff double flaps to get out. This new flaps is more flexible and easier for her to use. BUT….when installing it, the exist screw are actually too small to hold it, cause the flap to drop too low to get a good seal. I added a small washer and that only made the flaps uneven and deform. The sides of the flap would not stay straight and so the cold or hot air could get in. I tried readjusting and tightening the screw and it only got worse. Over tightening resulted in the flap getting pushed out to a point where I can’t use the locking sliding door. Too pose the flap slides down too far. I finally gave up. Installed a whole new unit instead where over the years the improvements and design is much better.

Fits Perfect!
Have 5 dogs, so this really gets a workout! Big dogs can squeeze through with no problem, little dogs can push it open easily. Much better than original that was getting stiff with age so the big puppy (I think) got frustrated with it and ripped it in half! No problem with this product, several months and still going strong! Very good seal too, glad it came quickly as the ice cold winter air coming in the old one was making the whole house chilly. Bought an extra flap just in case but this one will last a long time!

Great option to extend the life of your doggie door.
my house was built in 2006. the doggie door was made into a storm door. The flap hardened and the plastic cracked, letting flies in. This design did not permit replacing the flap however, we were able to modify this flap and make it work. The silicon is flexible and the magnetic bottom minimizes bugs and drafts. We saved money and savaged our door for now. YAY at a bargain price.

Doesn't fit my model of PetSafe door (see update comment)
Update to review:***Changed from 1* to 4* b/c I learned (from manufacturer) some pet doors allow you to adjust the flaps a tiny bit up or down at the screws connection point, to adjust how strongly the magnet grabs the flap. This could solve the "side-gap" issue for people with a diff version of PetSafe door, if it could be raised a bit. (Would have saved me a lot of time if this was clear in instructions, but didn't want to ding this product b/c my door was unique.)When getting a 2nd set of replacement flaps from manufacturer, I discovered my exterior door was made with the dogdoor built in to the entire lower panel door-insert, not installed afterwards, as most are. For the price (a set of these is same as 1 flap from PetSmart) the quality was good. My issue was the fit.PS: This was significantly harder to install than expected, since you have to screw the flaps back on from between the 2 flaps, and have your hands I the inside & outside of the door to reattach the screw & connector. 2nd flap I put the 5 connectors in place with a strip of blue tape, then inserted the screws and tightened, and took 1/3 if the time, and no more chasing down dropped pieces!***Original review:From day one the flap was too long, so there is a constant "gap" on both sides, b/c the magnets hold the flaps down, and the 1/4" extra length allows bugs and hot air in. To be fair, I can manually move them so that one side is gapped outside and the opposite gapped inside, and it helps, but my dog hasn't figured out how to do that on his own. ;)I'm going to buy a replacement and cross my fingers. (Thankfully, I saved the old flap that listed the replacement flap code on it!)
