Work as described, and very cheap. Reduces temperature measurably on non contact areas, hasn’t burned up or fallen off yet. Adhesive seems sticky enough but this will be a surface by surface bases, doesn’t help to bust out some adhesive in a bottle if you know it’s gonna be permanent.

Used it as thermal barrier backing on sportbike plastic. Adheres very well, and keeps the high temps created by the exhaust and radiator away from the plastic very well.

Our stove is next to the refrigerator. We were worried about using the stove with a new fridge. We bought the largest size to extend from the top of the fridge down to the floor since the condenser, water filter, etc were located next to the oven. It was easy to attach and it works. Also it looks okay. I am happy with our purchase.

We stuck it to the top of a tall board that touches the floor so that the aluminum starts where the burners are & extends upward. I have cases of water stored on the other side & worried about a fire hazard. It worked out real good. No worries now.The adhesive works great on our wooden board.

I made some heat shields since both my turbos reside just over my exhaust manifolds. The adhesive works very well and it's easily cut to shape. I even used this to cover the metal pipes from the turbos to the air filters, it just required making a template in thin cardboard first to make all the requisite cuts to follow the curved tubes. My intake air temps are down significantly now, and in traffic my IAT's are indicating that i'm not getting as much heat soak- and once moving again, the temps drop much more quickly as my pipes are not absorbing nearly as much heat. This material is fantastic for insulating anything you wish to protect from heat.

Worked perfectly for my situation I had a heat transfer from my stove top to the freezer side of my side by side refrigerator because my range sits right next to it so I could not use the power burner I had been using a bamboo cutting board but I recently purchased a new range and the power burner is a lot more powerful so I was burning the bamboo cutting board this stuff has completely changed everything so now I can use my power burner without fear of damaging the freezer of my refrigerator

Nice product. Looks good, feels good, easy to cut and good adhesive backing. Unfortunately I can not say the same about its actual heat shielding properties. I'm using this as a heat shield on the underside of a shelf in a hifi stereo rack to protect the equipment on top of the shelf from a hot power amp on the shelf below. There is about 2 inches of distance between the top of the amp and the underside of the shelf where I applied the heat shield. The shelf is open on 4 sides so there is ample space for air flow. The top of the upper shelf is still getting very hot. It is a few degrees cooler than the top of the amp, which I would expect with the 2" air gap and the air flow. I guess I had expected a bit more of a heat deflection and shielding effect, but perhaps this is not the right kind of application for this product. It looks very professional though! :-)

Used it to insulate the granite countertop from the heat rising from the dishwasher during the drying cycle. This stuff is great, easy to apply, easy to trim, blocks heat as expected.
