I got these for my twin girls' 9th birthday and they absolutely loved them, partly because they've been watching The Land Before Time, lately. They needed my help a little. I had a five year old boy and near 3 year old boy watching but not able to help. I wouldn't gift them to anyone younger than eight because they are basically puzzles and require a good bit of hand strength. They do not come assembled.

I got this for my grandson. He loves building things and dinosaurs. I thought this would be the best of both. Unfortunately it proved to be more frustrating than fun. The pieces didn’t match the directions and he struggled with making the pieces fit in the correct places. I would say it’s probably better for a kid a bit older than my 5 year old grandson.

This is fun for kids that like to build things. The plastic screws are small enough for a small child to choke on.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my youngest grandson. I don't know if it is age appropriate because his 8 year old brother and 6 year old sister were so busy snatching it from his hands that he just sat and played with a dinosaur arm or leg while they abandoned everything else to play with the rest of the set.Pieces are smaller that you may have imagined they would be. I personally did not use but gave as a gift and have not heard any complaints as of yet.
