Works great and looks good. The housing does need to be drilled and tapped. Easy to do if you have the tools and know-how, if not pay a professional.

I honestly I was skeptical about this considering the price but honestly it fit my 03 Dyna perfectly, installed easily and works like a champ. The drilling and tapping was very straight forward, drilled with a drill press with ease. Highly recommend it!

Bought this for my 08 HD Night Train. As I get older my carpal tunnel has been bothering me on longer rides. I liked the look of this and the fact vet owned and US made.It is a nice finish and well made. I would suggest getting the drill and tap jig. I didn’t, but have experience free handing stuff like this. The drilling went smoothly but the tapping is a bit harder since the housing on my bike has ridges in it that wants to throw the tap off center, that is where the jig would be nice.Once installed I wish it was an even shorter throw and it held the throttle a bit tighter. Going down the road with hand removed it slips unless I push the lever as far forward as I can. There is not enough adjustment for me to get it so my throttle moves freely without the lock and then locks with only a 15-20° lever throw. Despite this I really like the product and it works well.

Works awesome over factory thumbwheel. Do not drop the spring. Says it right in the instructions. Its small. Blends in with oil stains and crud on floor. Don't say I didn't warn you. Had to sit down and drink about that for a bit. Found it. Put it in. Works great

The media could not be loaded.  Would buy again! Took 10 mins pretty straight forward. Jig isn’t needed for my purpose. Just drill the existing hole larger and tap it 3/8-24. Sink the nut in with lock right and adjust the stop to your grips. Re assemble controls like you took them apart!

Take your switch housing and master cylinder apart, drill & tap the lower housing, install & adjust Cruisemate ! Takes 45 min. , well worth it ! The last 400 miles has been a pleasure. On & off while riding is so easy. Watch the video, it works great ! Thanks for making a great product that really works.

I purchased the Cruise-mate along with the installation jig, tap, and drill bit. Unfortunately, the housing on the Harley XG models are plastic and a little deeper than the other models this product will fit. The XG also has an additional metal plate used to hold your throttle cables in place right at the point you have to drill to install the cruise-mate. I took the plate off and carefully drilled into the housing anyway. I used the alignment jig but, when the hole was finished, there wasn't enough plastic left on the sides for the tap to work. Again, I went ahead and put the cruise-mate into the hole. After locking it all the way down, the nylon tip that touches the throttle grip didn't go in far enough to engage. So, even if the hole would have worked out, it still wouldn't have worked. I'm giving this 5 stars just the same because, on the bikes that it will work, this little gadget is well worth the money. I'm just bummed it wouldn't work for mine. Thanks.

It was quick and fast to install just make sure u get get the right tools before And way better then stock options

Quality item, not hard to install. Haven't actually used it yet due to winter, but the install was good.

This product is awesome, easy install. Works fantastic and easy to use. A must for any type of throttle lock.
