Port Authority Tall Pique Knit Polo (TLK420) Navy, XLT

I am happy with the quality and the overall fit of the shirt. However, like so many other reviewers, I've found the length of the sleeves to be ridiculously long. I'm 6'2, and have a wingspan of 6'10, so I have very long arms and broad shoulders for my height, to the point where I've gotten used to sleeves being slightly shorter than optimal. The shoulders on the shirt are pretty much where they should be (maybe 1/2" narrower than optimal, which is no problem), but the sleeves fall to about 1" below my elbow. I did some measurements, and the length of the sleeve is a little over 10.5" from armpit to end, compared to 7"-8.5" on all my other XLT short-sleeved polos. I can make it work (I rolled the cuff up three times on the inside of the sleeve and wore the shirt to work - looks a bit tacky, but it does the job), but I honestly don't see who this shirt could fit properly with the way it's cut.

Sleeves were way too long, well over the elbows (and I'm 6' 3" tall. So returned for credit, but had to pay $12 postage to return the ~$20 item. Should have noticed that there were no free returns. (I'm not used to being played for a sucker!)

I made the mistake of thinking this shirt would be okay for my 6 ft. husband since he wears extra large in several things and sometimes they run a little small on him. Well, he isn't small but he could swim in this shirt. Not for extra large sized men. My mistake I guess. Note it shows the arms as long in the picture and most men's polos don't have arms this long. These are obviously for men who are really tall and they have these longer arms where this shirt looks right on them. However, even in this pictures the arms look a lot longer than most polos so maybe it's partially the style of the shirt, which is a bit different for a polo.

I'm all body and no legs, thanks God... The human version of a Badger person. Well, luckily I'm not alone. XLT size seems to have saved me. Now I can tuck my shirt in without it pulling out when I bend over (terrible visual). These shirts work for me. 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, 7 ounces (so it doesn't feel like I'm wearing tissue paper), fits well (even when I wear a T-shirt underneath). Wish there where more "earthy" colors in this size (i.e. olive, dark grays, dark browns...)

I'm a big boy - and no it's not muscle. I usually buy 2XLT but this shirt is cut too big. It's cut for a narrow shouldered gorilla who's a 3XLT. I might use it as a night shirt. As for stitching and overall construction, yeah, it's pretty good. The shirt's stitching seems tight and there were no loose threads. The other nice thing about a shirt this huge is that in the event I find myself trapped outdoors in the wilderness I always have a pup tent with me. Oh yeah, with the shirt tucked in I can bend over without causing anyone to shout "My eyes!" So there's that.

The sleeve length is extremely long. I'm 6'1" and normally I purchase a tall so that a short sleeve will be about 1 to 2 inches _above_ my elbow. Normal short sleeves are usually above my bicep. The port authority tall goes about 1" _below_ my elbow making the shirt look ridiculous. If you can get the sizing right though, the material is good and the weight feels nice for an office environment.

Way too big. I ordered xlt. I gave the shirts to my friend who wears xxl and they are a little too big for him.

The material is quality and the construction appears good. I ordered 2XL Tall but the whole shirt is a bit larger all over than what I normally get in a 2XLT. I'm 6.2 with long arms (6' wing span) and long back but the sleeves come past my elbow and shirt tail comes to mid thigh. I'm going to wash it and over dry it a few times, since it is all cotton, things may change.

A great shirt it fits really well.

Länge und Breite passen halbwegs. Wie aber die Ärmel dazu im Verhältnis passen, ist mir ein Rätsel; für ein Langarm-Shirt sind sie zu kurz, für ein Kurzarm-Shirt viel zu lang. Sie reichen mir knapp über die Ellenbogen und haben einen Umfang für mindestens zwei Oberarme – oder für Popeye.

After a couple of washes the red faded a fair bit, that's usual with Red shirts. It's comfortable and seems to be a good quality product.
