Smaller than I thought, but depend on how much hair. At least they do stretch pretty well.

We used two of these for little space buns on top of my daughter's head for ballet. They worked perfectly for her thin hair and were easy enough to use even with her moving around a bunch. They stayed in place for most of the day even with her rolling around. You'll definitely want to use a hair balm to keep flyaways from happening, particularly with thin hair.

This bun maker is great, and really helps when your child goes to dance class… however, my six and a half year old has too much hair for this, so I had to get the adult size. Good product, though, if your child has fine hair, and not too long.

I really like the small bun donuts so I can wear my hair up. It’s a perfect size for women or girls with fine and thin hair. I think they are a good value for the money and good quality.
