I hate to admit that I did a lot of research on something as simple as buying a bait net. I wasn't wanting it to get bait out of a tank but to scoop up the shad that come and circle my fishing light. It performs better than expected and if the shad are circling the light in big numbers one swoop will generally get me 5 to 10 shad. It is very well made and should last for years. The mesh is wide enough so there isn't much water resistance swooping it through the water which is important as shad can move really fast when they see a threat. And it really does float. I know because I have had it slip out of my hands a couple of times. The handle is long enough that I can get the net down under some circling shad and swoop them up with no problem. I'd say for my intended purpose this is the best available.

I initially got this as a temporary replacement for one I lost, with the intention of getting a different one later. I love this one so much, though, that I'm making it my permanent replacement. I love that the net doesn't go over the edges of the rim, which makes it less apt to tear up. I also love the rubber handle grip.

Now this is a net... Yes it big, construction is excellent, will work great with my new 19 qt. aerated minnow cooler. Yes it was bigger than expected, but after thinking about it when used in my boat and 2 people fishing it should be great. It's a very good minnow net, may be a little bigger than planned but as far as minnow nets I've never seen one so well constructed. I'm keeping it, and happy to do it. If I need a smaller one I'll get one but this one will work.

i put it on my head and run around the yard with it,its just fun,just one of those things a 50 year old guy likes to do,oh and only after i use it to catch stinky minnows for sure pleasure,its so neat,i get really excited about the little things in my tiny life,I'm a loser lmao

Just ordered up and received the Promar LN-410 Baitwell Net. Mine flew off and was in the need of a new one. I figured, for $10.99 you can't beat that.Right out of the box I was impressed. Nice sturdy construction that felt good overall. The net portion is nice and wide for some of the larger live bait we have on the west coast. It has a nice long handle design to allow you to reach deep into your live well should you have a need to get down to the bottom.Overall, very nice net at a great price.

Love the net… very sturdy for what it is and it floats!!!! Unlike my last one that’s at the bottom of the ocean. Very pleased with purchase. Makes easy work of netting menhaden and eels out of my live well with added security if I drop it over… just turn around and scoop it up

This bait net is light weight and easy to use. It floats well since the PVC handle is hollow.The only problem we had was with the grip. The glue came loose and we had to glue it again with super-glue. No big deal.

Great net. One of the best I've used. My kids did manage to break the first one, but I bought another one of these. I would buy another one when the time comes.
