A great substitute
Since my goto substitute has stopped production, I struggled to find a good alternative. Allulose didn't do it for me before but, I guess it's something about this brand. It tastes great and there's no icky, thick or weird aftertaste with it.

NO AFTERTASTE AT ALL!
This product does taste like sugar, but the sweetness is much weaker, and the sweetness does not linger on the tongue for more than a few seconds. More of the product is needed to achieve a sweetness on par with sugar, which is unfortunate since it's very costly, but compared to xylitol, erythritol, stevia, etc., Allulose has no aftertaste whatsoever, and that's a definite plus. I've seen some reviewers that have complained about tummy troubles using this product, but I've had no such issue with it. That may depend on the quantity consumed, of course.PROS:Perfect for homemade low-carb ice cream. Allulose leaves the ice cream ultra-scoopable from day 1 in the freezer to the last scoop, unlike most other low-carb sweeteners that produce rock-hard ice cream.Allulose melts and browns just like sugar, so it's perfect for low-carb caramel and for baking. Be cautious though as Allulose melts and browns much faster than sugar and it will definitely burn if cooked for too long. For baked goods, a lower temperature is necessary to avoid overbrowning. For caramel, only cook the Allulose until it is the color of light corn syrup. If you cook it until it is amber-colored (which is the norm for caramel made out of sugar), it will taste burnt and bitter (ask me how I know, lol).CONS:Very expensive for quantity.Sweetness doesn't last long on the tongue.Possible tummy troubles.

Honest review-keto(sweet tea)
This has the consistency and taste of powdered sugar. It did not send me out if ketosis. It’s very true that it is NOT as sweet as sugar! For test purposes I made a gallon of tea & used a cup of sugar for typical southern tea. It tasted like a bland 1/2 & 1/2 tea. Added one more 1/2 cup, the sweetness budged a tiny bit but still did not get much sweeter AT ALL but did get kinda...gross just like when you eat something with too much powdered sugar. It delivers way better in baked goods and puddings fat bombs etc rather than in drinks. A caution: when I first started using this sugar I swear my colon turned into a jet ski lol. After the initial “cleansing” I had no more stomach issues. My preferred method for getting as close to real sweet Tea is to use 2 heaping spoons of this with a packet of a no calorie sweetener like Stevia etc. the price is high, but how much is your health worth? If you’re like me and can’t handle the taste of stevia alone this will be a joy on keto. Another tip: try KNOW chocolate cookies which use allulose and are a great keto snack when cut in 1/2 in case you want to taste the flavor of this sugar before buying these huge tubs.

Depends how it's used
I just got this a couple of days ago, so I've used it twice in morning coffee and twice mixed with milk and cocoa. In the coffee it wasn't up to sugar or honey, it tasted like an artificial sweetener. I don't normally sweeten my coffee, so that doesn't bother me.Where it did work was sweetening cocoa in milk. It cut the bitterness of the cocoa and made a pretty good chocolate milk. If it turns out to be as healthy as initial testing seems to indicate, I'd buy it for just this purpose.

Exactly as described
This is a great sweetener. I think it is much better for the body than most other artificial sweeteners. Myself, I replaced Splenda with the Allulose. I haven't used it in baking yet, so no thoughts on it.It is a great bargain for the size of the pack. Highly recommend!

First time trying...
This is my first time trying Allulose I am trying to get away from the Stevia packets that I use for my coffee due to it has Erythritol. I like this sweetener it's easy to use and taste sweet with no after taste. I use it in my coffee and my overnight oats and overnight chia seed pudding along with anything else I need to sweeten up. The price of the sweetener is a decent price and will last me quite a long time since I don't do any baking or anything where I will need large amounts of it. The only thing I didn't like is that is came in a white package with a sticker on it that said Allulose sweetener with the nutrition facts and ingredient list, it did not come in the packaging that is pictured on the posting. I really do not like that at all I don't know what brand this is because it says nothing. If this is how your sending out the sweetener then it needs to be listed on the posting so that we know this, I see reviews with pictures and they got their sweetener in the original brand packaging so not sure why I got mine in a plain white bag. Thus overall I gave it 3 stars due to this issue!

Great to bake with
Makes great chocolate chip cookies (with Amazon available SF chips) that keep for a long time, as they don't mold. Allulose, like erythritol is a 1:1 swap with sugar without the aftertaste of the colored packet sweetners. Lots of allulose recipes online. I use it to sweeten iced tea also. Comes in individual packets for traveling as well. A bit pricey, but not a high volume commodity like sugar.
