I absolutely LOVE this blocking board! At first, I didn’t think I really needed one. But after making a couple of stacks of granny squares, I saw how uneven they were and realized I did need to block them. I considered pinning them all, but that would take too long and too much space. Then, I saw this board and knew it was what I needed. The board is very nice wood. The holes are drilled very precisely. There were no rough spots to snag my yarn. The steel pins are very nice and even come in a nice storage bag! As you can see, you can stack multiple squares on each set of pins. So, I sprayed each granny square with some water until they were damp. Then I placed them on the pins. When they were dry, I had squares that were uniform in shape and size, so they were easy to join together! I used the board flat, but it also stands like an easel to show off your work! I am very pleased with the craftsmanship of the board and pins and my blocking turned out beautifully! The company will even send you some extra pins for free! This was a great purchase and I highly recommend this product!

I ordered the 13 inch blocking board without any embellishments, and was concerned to see that the finish was not what I had read about in various reviews and expected. I contacted the Seller, and they were beyond helpful, even going so far as to tell me to keep the board that I had received and contacting their manufacturer to address my concerns about the finish not being as thick as had been mentioned by other customers who bought the decorated boards. The board is meant to stand up to steam, so I was worried about the board warping if the finish was too thin. The best Seller is one who takes questions and concerns seriously and goes to the mat to make things right for their customers, and this Seller definitely did that. I can't wait to see what the improved board will look like.

I’ve been looking for a wood blocking board for my crochet projects and this fit the bill for both smaller and bigger projects. A decent amount of pins with tapered ends come with the board. The board is well made, but I do wish the stand was removable instead of just collapsable. But that’s just a personal preference. Great board all around.Pros: large size, plenty of pins included, smooth pin system that doesn’t snag work, sturdy construction. Company also offers additional pins if needed.Cons: stand is not removable and kind of flops around on the back when you pick it up. Wish there was one more row of holes around the edge to allow for 12” squares. 11.5” is the largest you can get on the board.Overall, great blocking board and I feel it will be longer lasting than foam boards with pins. Only advantage of a foam board is for oddly shaped pieces that may not conform to the gridded holes on this board.

I picked this blocking board because people raved about the quality of the craftmanship, and I love the pouch for the metal posts (It was VERY well secured so they wouldn't damage the board in shipping; I actually had trouble opening it). However, my board came with extra little marks on each side of the bottom face, like drilling was started. On the right side, this resulted in the wood surface splitting. The drill holes also aren't uniform, so some posts wiggle, while others require a push to get in, though it doesn't seem so extreme as to interfere with use. Overall, it's functional and seems quite sturdy, but I'm disappointed by the quality control and glad I didn't pay more for a painted one.

I am very pleased with this board. I have looking around and finally I bought the 13” board with no embellishments. The board works great, it is foldable, so it lays flat. It comes with two sets pins: 16 pins of 4” and 8 pins of 6” in a pretty pouch. The pins are sturdy and fit in the holes, the surface of the board is smooth and it is sturdy. The granny squares won’t be damaged because both the board and the pins are smooth. This board made a huge difference for my granny squares. The customer service is outstanding, they replied really fast. I will buy products from this company again! I recommend it for your crochet projects!
