Squish #6: Fear the Amoeba

If my child will read it, i will buy it. I buy this series for my child and classroom. My child does not like reading. He's a good reader but is just not interested in independent reading very much. If you have a reader that is frustrated with reading or behind in reading these are great because there are lots of graphics but your child will not feel like they are reading a "baby" book. I bought these for my children in SpEd class. I leveled these approximately 2nd grade reading ability and even my 5th graders reading at lower ability enjoyed them. Check out Baby Mouse for girls too...soooo funny! I bought a bunch of those too!

We heard about this series on satellite radio kids place live. My 7 year old son(who is very picky about what he reads) wanted to check out from library but our local library didn't have any copies. We bought one and he read it from front to back without stopping and asked for more. He read and enjoyed every single book in this series and still asks me regularly if there are new squish books! We can't wait for more!!!

Excellent! Squish and his friends are eager to see the latest scary movie, but afterwards Squish has nightmares. A few months later another new scary movie is premiering, and Squish faces a dilemma - avoid the scary movie and the nightmares it may cause or give in to peer pressure and go? A great book for younger kids facing similar dilemmas of following the crowd or doing your own thing.
