Quality
This looks like exactly what I was hoping for, fits great, quality looks good, nice design, and looks to be just the warmth and thickness I needed. I was hoping it wouldn't be felt or soft on the outside as I do crawl around in the dirt on some of our outdoor activities, and the outer shell toughness is what I was hoping for. Nice work, I can recommend

Initial thoughts: nice
The jacket was a little long in the sleeves, to be fair I'm 5'11 @190lb and ordered 2XL so I can layer underneath it.The waterproofing seems effective at least under a sink. The zippers and material feels very nice. The cuffs close up though they should make the cuff velcro longer so we can tighten more.Overall it's great, the hood doubles as a hat with a brim.Confusing: on the inside where the bank of your neck is there's a velcro flap and I don't know the purpose for it. Also, on the exterior of the hood backing there's 4 velcro panels that I don't know the reasoning for.I'll update after my hunting trip

Nice hunting jacket
I’ve hunted in this jacket 4 times now and I’m really happy with it. It’s warmer than I thought and has some nice features, especially for the money. The side pockets are cut pretty high which I was skeptical about, but they work for hand warming and are comfortable. The size chart is off so be careful. Amazons recommend size for me was medium which didn’t seem right. I’m 5’ 10” 190 lbs, and find a lot of larges even have sleeves that are short for me. I went with a large and it fits well. A medium would have been way too small.

Amazing product.
Kept my son warm and dry on our 12 day moose hunt trip. He is a large 10yo about 5 ft tall and it was a little big, which is perfect so he can get another season. I was honestly jealous since his jacket was much nicer in the cold rain than my shell. The inside felt was always warm and soft to the touch and was like his armor out there. I’m going to get a large version for my myself. If you’re going out for a fall elk hunt and need a new jacket, get this one. I did treat it twice with scotchgard before going out and it beaded water like a tarp. Could have been that way to begin with, but I never tested right away.

Really wanted to like it but low quality and the main pockets suck.
The stitching is very cheap and terrible, I could see it the moment I took it out of the package. Strings coming out of the termination points, no double stitches anywhere. It's such a nice looking jacket, but I lost a headphone in the top left arm pocket because its stitching broke the first day wearing it. I could take or leave the arm pockets, even though they are convenient for dog treats or something handy and small. But would trade them all for some decent pockets on the front and maybe an inner vest pocketThe two main front pockets are just a huge letdown. Awkward rectangular shape and the zippers go all the way to the bottom so if you leave them all the way zipped down anything in there can easily fall out of the side, there's not much of a bottom recess that things can nest in, maybe half an inch. Really high up so it doesn't feel like your hands are resting while you're holding them in there. The material is really thin and light but still quite warm for what it is, I wouldn't say it's waterproof but it blocks wind and water fairly well, and dries quickly. Zippers leave a lot to be desired, they feel cheap and is sometimes hard to connect the main one. But it's a great hunting shell if you're wearing waders, for the price (~$45 at time of purchase) I might just keep it and dedicated to my duck hunting setup.

Refute Camo Zip
For the money you can’t beat this jacket/coat. I got the reed camo pattern and used it for duck hunting. Jacket is lightweight with a very warm fleece lining. The hood is a very nice fit and doesn’t hinder vision. Never got a chance to wear in rain but seems to be very wind proof. I’m 6-0, 185 and the large is a perfect fit and allows for some layering. I wore three layers plus a fleece vest under it and had good mobility.

Great jacket
Jacket works great, runs a little big. Certain verlcro straps require a little fenaggling, but great for the price. The places that the velcro isn't the best is inside the jacket and does not affect function.

Gives the higher-end, name-brand jackets a run for their money
I both this as a lighter weight hunting jacket than my Browning Hydro-Fleece jacket. I was a bit worried based on the price that this jacket would be complete junk. I couldn't be more wrong. Needless to say, my expectations were low, especially since I usually stick with name-branded items, especially for foul weather clothing.I was immediate impressed with the overall fit. Wasn't too loose, and arm lengths were just right. I really liked the number of pockets. Though some have questioned the height of the hand pockets, having them higher on the chest is more preferred and is quite common on many of my more "tactical" jackets. I would have preferred a slightly deeper pocket so things don't fall out as easy when the zippers are fully opened. These pockets also have a small D-ring sewn inside. As useful as this could be, the stitching on them is much to be desired and one has already nearly come completely undone after just one week of hunting. The pull cord for the hoodie is also terminated in these pockets so its nice to cinch the hood and not have the cords dangling. The left side pocket also has a "pass-through" for any corded headset.Though I haven't had a chance to test its water repellency yet, I can assure you that it will stop wind pretty well. We were running around in "Side-by-side" vehicles in 40deg weather and I was still warm, with just a lightweight pullover as my insulating layer. The pit zips, though a little finicky, allowed me to vent out as the weather did warm up during the day (Though I already lost one of the corded pull-tabs...) .If there was one thing I didn't really like, it was the zippers. They are definitely YKK knock-offs. Not the best quality and smooth operating zippers, but they are functional. It is a $50 jacket afterall .... One other thing I would've liked to see is a pocket INSIDE the jacket itself. There isn't any in this jacket, which I found odd.Bottom line, I would recommend this jacket for something that may not be a daily wearing jacket

Grandeur veste tactique
