HDP Premium Natural Rawhide Bone 4-5" Pack of 50

They somehow disappear within a couple of days.

I thought this was going to be a great deal, so many bones for a very reasonable price. My dog likes them gobbling them up pretty quickly. The description stated they were 4 to 5 inches long. It's more like 3 to 4 inches. Because they are smaller than what I usually buy at Pet Smart, the knot is not tight so my it takes no time at all for my dog to go through one. If you have a small dog, under maybe 20 lbs, these would be great, my Wheaten/Carin terrier mix weighs about 40 lbs with very strong jaws. Overall I'm disappointed and will go back to buying the ones that are a little larger with a tighter knot giving my dog more of a challenge.

These bones were a good value, and were consistently sized. We got the 4-5" set, which came with exactly 51, as described on the product page. Most were around the lower end of the size range -- 4". The bones came in a zippered plastic bag, similar to the type of bag a sheets would come in, rather than a box as described on the product page.

I just ordered these for the first time after Amazon stopped selling the brand I had been buying. They are advertised as 4-5 inches, but they are really 3-4 inches - mostly 3-3 1/2, and none over 4 inches. Also they are very light, so I think they are basically hollow. I have not, however, taken one away from my dog mid-chew to verify this. My dog seems to be happy with them, but it only takes him a few minutes to finish one, compared to about 20-30 minutes with the previous brand of rawhide bones. I plan to try a different brand next time, rather than buy these again.

I have four dogs, these are the best rawhide bone for the cost. I have tried many other vendors on Amazon and the rawhides were alway smaller then the 4 inch to 5 inch I had ordered. There is no store that comes close to having a rawhide bone this good at this low price, with four dogs I know. I'm a happy camper, the bones arrived early in good condition. My dogs are very happy and thankful.

When I ordered this item, I expected to receive at least the same value of the ones I've purchased at my local store for years. I was underwhelmed at the product vs. the cost of comparables at the brick and mortar stores, and to top it all off, my dog doesn't care for these at all (this is a dog that will eat/chew on nearly anything we give him). I have to put peanut butter on these bones just to get him to chew them, I wish I had just bought a Kong instead.

Great bones, but definitely too small for a lab, ours chews through them in a minute. Still, these bones are very good for his teeth. They seem to be made of quality material and all have a uniform look. Our lab loves them so they make a good treat.

Rawhide is bad for your dogs. BUT we buy it sometimes and the dogs love it. This was a good deal and good quality in my opinion. Heck, it's rawhid. What can you do to it?
