Goody Classics Claw Hair Clip, Large Spider, 2 Count

I ordered these to replace similar ones that I had bought several years ago. The plastic is much thinner than it used to be. They feel like they could snap at any time.

Love this hair clasp. It does a great job with my thick wavy hair. One thing to note, the color was not brown amber, but more of a green color, which I didnt mind but deducted 1 star. Also I do not think this will not work well on thin hair since the bottom of the clasp is flat and each side doesnt completely fold into each other.

I have had one of these for several years and I love it. It has lasted several years, and it is comfortable. It holds a lot of hair. I saw the image of a dark brown hair clip, and I thought that I would get that color. However, the seller substituted a much lighter blonde color one that does not match my hair.

I love these big spider clips for my long thick hair. I can't find these at my store anymore, but glad I was able to get them on Amazon. If they ever stop selling them I would be sad.

I have baby fine hair, but a good amount of it. These clips aren't terribly big, maybe 2inches, but they do not hold for crap. I typically use this to put my hair up in a French twist and it would not hold the hair up which is crazy because I've used smaller clips than this and had more success. I've also tried to use to hold a messy bun in place - again to no avail. My 13yr old daughter broke one of these the first day she used it - some of the teeth broke as she tried to put it in her hair. Weird, maybe defective clip because the ones we had before (which we were trying to replace), we'd had for at least 5yrs, using the same way, before they started to wear and break. Disappointed.

Received the wrong color (grey ordered, received brown) decided to use it, since I'm looking for alternate ways to hold up my shoulder length fine thick hair. This clip attaches well but slips out slowly over time. Wish this had additional rubber/grip for hold. Will keep looking for something sturdier.

I have long, thick hair, so I need large clips to get it all up. I was super pleased when this came and didn't match the color in the picture - it's a nice light brown, and it's exactly the same as the one my mom had when I was growing up. I broke all the teeth off of that one trying to get it to hold up my hair. Unfortunately, I just sat on this one and broke it so I'm going to order another one. I hope it's the same color!

This is really flimsy. I used to trust goody quality as strong long lasting product. Im not sure if this is an imitation, but am definitely surprised that it's so cheap, worried if this hair clip falls it will break apart. Not confident it will last long. Will no longer buy goody products online, i cant trust the brand for quality anymore.The clip itself is great, i had a few like these before, it holds well and is comfy, just poor quality.

I usually buy this hair claw at Wal-Mart but it has been out of stock. Hence, I ordered 3 of them for my daughters through Amazon. All of them broke after a week. On the picture, the top one is from Wal-Mart and the below one is from Amazon. The materials and shapes are different and the grip of the claw is different, too. You will notice whenever you use it. If you want to save money and all the hassle, don't buy this. I want my money back. Please correct me if the ones that are being sold here are old version. The ones I have bought from Wal-Mart are very flexible.

These clips are huge so awesome for people with thick hair or just alot of hair. However they arent the greatest quality. I bought two: one broke within 3 months (2 teeth broke off) and the other has all the interior paint rubbing off.Unfortunately i shall keep buying them because they are the only ones i can find that are big enough for me.

I like the shape of these clips, they're not too large but also not small and can hold a good amount of hair. But the plastic is very cheap and fragile, I'm afraid it'll snap and break very easily. I'm using them very carefully which is annoying when trying to quickly tie up hair.

I love the shape of the clip, but it's now hard, brittle plastic, unlike the more flexible plastic they used to be made from. It's impossible to put on with wet hands since the plastic is so slippery! But I love the low profile - the teeth don't dig into your head, and the handle is easier to wear when in the car with the headrest.
