Favorite brace
This is my favorite brace for my tendinitis, and for support when doing activities that I need wrist support for in general. Yes, I agree that they run small, although my wrist is tiny compared to my hands, so I have to meet in the middle (small seems to work the best in my case.) Works well for lifting small children, playing bells, crocheting, kayaking, pushing my wheelchair, etc. Not bad for sleeping in.

It's a great brace...just trim the Velcro yourself and remember they run a tiny bit large.
I also measured and ordered a small. They do run a bit large. When fastened, there is an excessive amount of Velcro that hangs off of the end. As you can't return it, and Velcro doesn't run or fray, I cut the ends to the right length for me, and rounded the corners, the way that they come.I tried two different other braces for severe carpal tunnel in both hands. The night I tried a different option, I woke up in pain and took the braces off to find bruises in the webbing of both thumbs. The holes were tiny, and even though my hands are small as well...it hurt for days. I was able to return those. This brand honestly has the softest feel, less range of movement (you can take the metal bar out and bend it to your needs) and once you cut the extra Velcro...they really do the job, have large holes for your thumb, and I wake up with very little pain.

Sturdy brace.
The brace was fine. It just wasn't for me, for it made the numbness in my hand a lot worse, but by no fault of the brace. I just need another type of brace. The only bad part about my having brought this brace, was that I didn't see that it wasn't returnable until I tried to return it. I had even tried it on over a sterile glove just in case it didn't fit, or if I needed a smaller size; (glad that I didn't), but now I'm out that money for the cost of the brace, and I have to spend more money to get another brace that'll help my condition. A costly lesson learned.Don't get me wrong, there wasn't anything wrong with the brace. Plus, it was over $20.00 less for the very same brace that the reps who sell braces at my doctor's office wanted me to pay; (it wasn't covered by my insurance). But, I do understand the reasoning behind the "No Return Policy," for such items as a brace, but I just wish that it was in bolder letters, and maybe show up on the screen again before you order it. It would catch your attention, and I might've seen it.After having ordered on Amazon for so many years, I guess that I didn't even consider that something couldn't be returned; this is my first nonreturnable item. When it comes to ordering things such as this in the future, you'd better believe that I'll be more careful, and read over things twice before I push the "Place My Order" button.

RUNS LARGE
The form of the brace is nice. Keeps the wrist comfortable and in a good position. However, it runs large and stretches out. I'd say size one down if you're on the lower end of the measurements. Additionally, the velcro straps tend to get in the way and I had to cut the edges off. Otherwise, comfortable brace and no issues.

Recommended by our ortho surgeon for fracture
My son broke his arm with a buckle fracture of the radius. After being splinted in the ER and then seeing the orthopedic surgeon this was the brace they fit him for. He didn’t need a cast for his break. We got an extra here so he could get one wet (summertime) and this is the brace. My son has sensory issues and this did not rub or hurt and the arm healed great.

The metal stay does slip out and provides extra support in palm
Its comfortable and I often have to sew the bottom or the stay slips out and jabs my forarm or just does not provide support. this is the first brace stay does not not require me to sew in. my hands can be spastic and this brace is more supportive then most in hand area. it cradle the palm, its somewhat stiffer and does not break down in a week. Great brace if you need support to function

This used to be a lot more plush
This is not the same amount of padding it used to have it used to be very comforting to wear now it's a little bit thin also I got the small because it said six and a half to 7-in wrist and it was small not at all what I expected for six and a half to seven inches I think I would have gotten the medium. The value for the money used to be exceptional at this point in time this is only 3 or $4 more than some really nice ones so it's okay it's just a shame that they're still not making them the way they did several years ago

Love this wrist splint
I broke my wrist in two places but since it a was non-displaced fx the Ortho left it in the Ossur splint they put on at the Urgent Care. It was the same as this one except it had a thumb section also. I found I did not like the restriction on my thumb so eventually I ordered the same one but without the thumb part. It is comfortably padded and fits great. Very helpful till my wrist healed. I plan to keep it but hope I will never need it again. I do recommend it! Mine was the small size.
