No plastic used at all. Eco friendly.
Purchasing these again. Not only awesome on the course but feels good playing my small part in using less plastic. No plastic was used in packaging. 100% eco friendly.

Good alternative material
These tees are a suitable alternative to wooden tees but I found that they do snap very easily. So, apparently good for the environment, but no more durable than standard wooden tees.

Great concept, poor performance
I would love to give these 5 stars, but I’ve been generous giving them 3, because I love the idea. Anyway we can make what we do every day more sustainable and friendlier on the planet, I’m all for. These tees are a great idea, made from sustainable bamboo and completely biodegradable. However that’s were the good points end. These tees do not last more than one shot, whether that’s with a driver off a high tee or a wedge off a low tee and every shot in between. To add to that, they snap at the head every time, which means you can even use the snapped end for iron shots as there is not enough stem to put back in the ground. If the tees were cheaper (which I appreciate is probably not possible, given the way they are made and the cost of growing the materials), then you could probably forgive the one use only quality, however at £7 for 100, and the fact that 1 bag will not last most average golfers even 2 rounds, they will price a lot of us out. The tees I used before (and will be going back to) are plastic which isn’t great, but I can get 2 rounds out of 1 tee, which means a box of 20 will last me all year, and they are a similar price. To improve the product, I would look at perhaps some sort of strengthening agent, whether that be biological, to keep the biodegradability of the tee, or perhaps a polymer using recycled plastic, which would obviously render them not biodegradable, but would still be a far more sustainable option than using all plastic tees.Such a shame, but they are simply not strong enough for a normal golfer, only ones where money is no option or play very little.
