I got this today, and it is AMAZING!! I had been buying bottled Essentia water, and paying big $$$$. This pitcher is a blessing!! They say to run two complete pitchers of water through, to clear out carbon and residue!! DO THAT!! The first one comes out kind of gray. the second pretty clear.The first 'REAL' pitcher of water, after washing and running through the rinses came out at a pH of 9.78 (yeah, I measured it with a pH meter! Don't have one? Amazon sells them!!) The water tastes a lot like Evian, but it is Alkaline, and is a really good natural solution to the heartburn issues I have.OH, DON'T immerse the white cover part, with the LCD!! It will kill it!! There maybe should be an orange or red sticker, saying that, when you first unpack it.

So this is the first water filtration item we've purchased for the house. Everyone adjusted to this almost instantly. We were all kind of suspicious of the flavor the first time we poured water from it (after of course we thoroughly washed it TWICE and followed the directions for running water through the filter to prime it). Surprisingly, even our pickiest member of the household couldn't taste anything different.All in all, we're a big fan of this product because it's not only a water filtration jug but also makes the water more alkaline which is much healthier and natural for our bodies. Oh, and no more bottles water expense and waste!!

alright got my new alkaline water pitcher.........also got an electronic tester........just calibrated it................and tested...............highest ph yet WOOHOO...............9.56way better than even the stores stuff...........just as i thought..............some of those pitchers cost $80...........but after reading millions of reviews and checkin around i got this one for $10........i think it may have gone up to $12 now...........works like a charm............and fills the pitcher in like 5 minutes...................filters are cheap too $12........did good...............it does seem to get the highest reading straight out of the jug...............the bottles i saved in the fridge were about 7 to 8........anyway very pleased with it.........results may vary i used the purified water i get from the water store to put in the jug to begin with............so end result it is actually filtered twice and made alkaline once............

This pitcher is fantastic! I've put it in my guest area fridge where we don't have water purification. It's sturdy, pours well, comes with a filter and has a filter replacement indicator, which is a great feature and very important in my opinion. Filtering your water is SO important. There are so many contaminants, chemicals and toxins in our water and you don't want to drink them. Also, this makes your water taste better. I highly recommend this pitcher. Easier and cheaper then other filtration methods out there.

This is a very large size pitcher, perfect so you don't have to refill so often. I like room temperature water for myself so I will leave it on the counter each morning for the day. It comes nicely packaged with a carrying handle and it's easy to use overall.

As they say, you get what you pay for. I did not like this pitcher from the first time I used it. Yes, the top DOES NOT stay on!!! And it drips water all over the place because of it. I was still putting up with it, since it is still usable. But they just received their 3rd strike when i could not order anymore filters!! I usually don't write reviews, so head my warning!! Buyer beware!!

This is our second pitcher from this company, we like the quality and taste of the filtered water. We fill it twice a day!

The filter is great however the snap down lid didn't fit well and so I just take it off to poor. The filtered water taste good. I'll keep it until the water filter is used up... and that will be awhile. If the lid would have fit better the product would have received a 5 star. Arrived as stated.
